The Young Womens Christian Association has a long history of partnering with the abortion chain Planned Parenthood.
This week in Nebraska, the two groups worked together to present a workshop about systemic racism and women who have been incarcerated, the Daily Nebraskan reports.
College student Amanda Lofland said she plans to attend the workshop because she wants to create positive change for future generations.
This stuff is all around us, and people cannot sit around and be ignorant about it, especially because it affects peoples everyday lives and the lives of future generations, she told the newspaper.
She is right. Planned Parenthoods work does affect future generations, though probably not in the way she is thinking.
Planned Parenthood has roots in racism and eugenics, and it regularly targets poor and minority women and their unborn babies for abortions. But today, the abortion chain tries to hide its past and portray itself as an advocate for minorities.
Karen Bell-Dancy, the executive director of the YWCA in Lincoln, said the workshop came about through discussions they had with Planned Parenthood.
According to the report:
Bell-Dancy said she noticed many of the issues in the Lincoln criminal justice system mirrored those in larger cities, such as the rate of imprisonment of women of color, which is twice that of white women according to the NAACP, as well as limited access to birth control in prisons. The workshop will focus on bringing to light these issues and others at the intersections of racial ethnicity and gender.

The YWCA partnered with Planned Parenthood to get these dialogues started, Bell-Dancy said.
The YWCA says its mission is to eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. But its years-long partnership with the Planned Parenthood abortion business directly violates these goals.
Every year, Planned Parenthood kills more than 300,000 unborn babies in abortions may of them girls and often leaves their mothers alone and hurting. Abortion, Planned Parenthoods key focus, does nothing to empower women. It destroys unborn babies lives and freedom in violent, inhumane procedures and demeans women by telling them that their future success depends on their ability to kill their unborn child.
It specifically targets minorities for abortions, too. Research by Protecting Black Life found that 79 percent of Planned Parenthood surgical abortion facilities are located within walking distance of black and Latino neighborhoods.
Yet, the YWCA continues to work with and promote Planned Parenthood and abortions. In 2008, the YWCA backed a radical pro-abortion bill that would have overturned virtually all pro-life laws and instituted abortion on demand.
Dr. Lorraine Cole, CEO of the YWCA at the time, told CNS News that her group would be fine with the radical pro-abortion bill becoming law.
Well, the YWCA has always been pro-choice, so this is a topic that we would be very supportive of, she said.
In 2009, the case of a raped inmate in Kansas who was coerced into an abortion and taken to a Planned Parenthood center generated criticism of Kansas corrections officials. But it is also implicated the YWCA, which appeared to have misled the woman and helped arrange her abortion.
The womens organization also has posted blogs supporting abortion and opposing ultrasound laws that provide women with information about their unborn babies.
In 2012, Danielle Marse-Kapr, the gender equity coordinator for the YWCA of Orange County, wrote about how the organization mobilizes young women in the reproductive rights fight meaning abortion.
The YWCA also is on Life Decisions Internationals Boycott List, which which identifies groups that support or partner with Planned Parenthood.

The YW_A...the C is missing...
This has been going on for a long time.
Yea but it was not always the case.
My husband and I purchased a child care center in 1973. About five years later I started taking children to the YW for swim lessons because they had excellent instructors. during those years I saw the leftist posters, etc.
Like I said above this alliance has been going on for a long time.
I believe it because you are on the West Coast. You guys have always been more progressive.
Where I’m at the Y was not so progressive in the 70’s. Our area would not have tolerated it.
Now, yea that it’s been pushed on us.
A lot of women’s organizations actively promote killing babies.
The YWCA is one of many examples.
That is unfortunate.
Stop having abortions, so there WILL be future generations.
Bump to your excellent thoughts there!
