Saint of the Day for June 25th!

I am trying to finish off June today and then tackle the July saints. Thanks for your patience.

Very interesting that 270 years after the day of her repose the a document expressing points of agreement (21) and disagreement (7) between Catholic and Lutheran court officials was signed in Augsburg.

Also of note, another Thuringian, Elizabeth, who became the Princess of Hungary, is Commemorated by Catholics and Lutherans alike on the 17th of November.

This year is the 500th Anniversary of Luther's posting his 95 Theses in Wittenberg.

Thesis # 1 should find universal acceptance by Lutherans, Catholics, and Orthodox:

A Christian's life ought to be entirely one of repentance.
