As most of you know, I moved back to MA from FL back in 2015 to take care of Mom, who subsequently passed away. Now I live in a small mobile home community on the South Shore, and in the year I have been here, have come to know my neighbors.
Our community has had no shortage of tragedy, but recently there have been two that really stand out.
My next door neighbor, Melanie, has been diagnosed with lung cancer, and for the past couple of months has been enduring the most brutal course of chemo and radiation therapy I have ever seen. When I asked FReepers to pray for her, the response was wonderful. I am asking now that you continue in prayer for her and her loved ones.
Just this morning I found out that another neighbor, Mary, is in the hospital with "swelling of the brain" and pneumonia. She will be undergoing surgery and a trip to a rehab facility. She is a single mom with three boys, two of which are developmentally disabled. Family and friends are struggling to keep her home in order while she is in the hospital.
I have only been here a year, but I really care about these folks, all of whom have been very kind to me.
I promised Mary's son that I would bring this to our group of praying FReepers.

Yes, Lord, we thank You for the wonderful provision You have made for every one of Melanie's and Mary's needs because of the finished work of Jesus Christ. Thank You, Lord, that all their needs shall be supplied according to Your riches in glory through Christ Jesus. Thank You for their healing and for perfecting everything that concerns them. Thank You for directing LTOS's path so that she knows exactly how to respond to Your call. Lord, we praise You for Your faithfulness in all things. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Exodus 15:26 ~ For I am the Lord that healeth thee. HEALING CONFESSION ~ Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Living Word. You said that Your Word is Life to those who find it and medicine to all their flesh. Today, by our confession, I apply Your Word to our body by giving voice to it. You said in Psalm 139:14 that we are fearfully and wonderfully made and that Your works are marvelous. I declare that You made Melanie and Mary and they are a marvelous creation. Proverbs 3:7-8 teaches that we are not to be wise in our own eyes; we are to fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to our body and nourishment to our bones.
I speak to sickness and disease today and proclaim that according to Philippians 2:10 that they must bow down to the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Every name in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth bows its knee to Jesus’ name. I speak to Melanie & Mary's bodies today and declare that we have authority over it. I command those bodies to receive the Living Word of God. Matthew 8:17 proclaims that Jesus bore our sickness and took our infirmities. Heavenly Father, I thank You that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in them and makes alive their mortal bodies.
I speak to their immune system and command it to line up with the Word of God. Their immune system will destroy sickness and disease in their bodies and perform its job, for this is what You created it to do. I thank You, Father, that every cell in their bodies responds to Your Word. Your Word permeates their bodies from the top of their heads to the bottom of their feet. I confess that the Word of God is being made flesh in them. Psalm 103:3 declares that You, Father, forgave all their iniquities and healed all their diseases. Father, that is Your confession and I make it our confession also. We don’t judge by the sight of our eyes; we judge by Your Living Word. It is Your Word that lives in us and brings health and healing to every part of their bodies. Heavenly Father, I rejoice at Your promise of divine health. You said it and I believe it. Today I declare that we will see Your Promise of healing manifest in Melanie & Mary's bodies. Healing is theirs because Jesus paid the price two thousand years ago. God so loved us that He sent His Son to die on the cross so that we could experience life on God’s terms. O Father, thank you for making them whole ~ body, soul and spirit. Exodus 15:26 ~ For I am the Lord that healeth thee. Amen and Amen.
Isaiah 41:10 ~ Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
In Jesus' name, it is so. Amen.
