It's always proper to cite chapter, verse and translation when quoting Scripture.
Does anyone doubt Jesus did a lot of other things? No.
However, what we have recorded was done so for a reason.
John clearly explains that in not only this writing but again in 1 John 5:13
13These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. (NASB)

Also, we might emphasize the need for faith/belief in Him for salvation. No good works are sufficient for our salvation.
Only faith in Christ.
