Now, Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples that are not written in this book. But these are written that you may come to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that through this belief you may have life in his name.

It's always proper to cite chapter, verse and translation when quoting Scripture.

Does anyone doubt Jesus did a lot of other things? No.

However, what we have recorded was done so for a reason.

John clearly explains that in not only this writing but again in 1 John 5:13

13These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. (NASB)

It is always proper to bow your head when mentioning the Blessed Virgin Mary: please do so.
