Criminal investigators from the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Postal Service raided the Grapevine, Texas offices of televangelist Benny Hinn on Wednesday afternoon.
Hinn is famous for his stadium-filling Miracle Crusades. At these revival-style events, held worldwide, Hinn claims to use special, supernatural power to heal people suffering from terminal diseases and various handicaps.
Several IRS and Postal Service agents participated in the Wednesday raid.
The investigators entered Hinns offices, then left with boxes and boxes, and boxes of documents. The investigators then placed the boxes on trucks at the scene.

It’s about time
He has nice hair
Knock me over with a feather. I never would have guessed that a high-living televangelist might get caught up in a scandal of some sort.
Oral Roberts all over again.
I think Hinn is a scam, but only religiously. That said, this is the government who has decided that a TV minister who lives in luxury cannot be allowed. They must live a live of poverty to be left alone. Except of course Catholic Archbishop. They all claim an oath of poverty while living in luxury. But we won’t see raids on an archdiocese.
‘Hate the thieving IRS, but if they can nail this bastard, then he’ll be wielding his “healing” powers on himself.
It’s about time ole’ Benny got his, but the one that infuriates me the most is that punk Mike Murdoch.
The truth is that the government just doesn’t like his weird theology. Be careful what you wish for.
In the Islamic terror and refugee world, in the world of hillarys bribery, of bleeding Chicago, of MS-13, THIS is what FBI agents did today.
Actually, Catholic Archbishops do NOT take an oath of poverty. Only members of certain religious orders (Franciscans, Dominicans, etc.) do.
Was there a comical foot chase set to Yakity Sax background music?
Wait, that’s Benny Hill.
Unless a priest (and that includes bishops) is also a member of a Religious order like the Franciscans or Carmelites, he is not required to take a vow of poverty. The majority of priests are what are called "secular" priests, which are not members of Religious orders.

Phony Christian, phony “ministry”
Exactly. Hillary Clinton turned the US State Dept. into her own personal gateway for international influence peddling, and not one charge is brought against her.
