Should We Still Keep The Commandments?
If you are skeptical because of past experiences with religion, understand that religion is not the answera relationship with Christ is. There is a clear difference.
Religion says, I have to follow rules. A relationship with Christ says, I want to follow His plan for my life.
Religion says, I have to go to church. A relationship with Christ says, I want to position myself to learn more, worship Him and benefit from fellowship.
Religion offers a set of rituals; a relationship with Jesus offers a guiding light.
Religion is mans attempt to find God; relationship assures us of His presence.
Many lose sight of purpose because they have religion and not a true relationship with Christ. They may know Scripture but they often do not apply it to their lives. As a result, their relationship with God is cold and distant.
A fatal statement, yet so common is, I know what Gods Word says, but
For example: I know that I shouldnt watch certain movies or television programs, but I enjoy then. I know that I shouldnt date her, but shes very attractive. I know that I shouldnt go there, but everyone is doing it. I know what the Bible says, but it doesnt apply now. I know that I need to go to church, pray, and read Gods Word, but Im too busy.

You keep repeating the lie that your keeping Torah will get you eternal salvation, when even you know you are not able to 100% keep Torah. So we see that it is actually your malignant self-pride driving your assertions, as if you could do what you keep chilling us for not doing like you and your false prophet, Michael Rood assert. Keep it up and God will send to you strong delusion ... if you're not already trapped under it.
The hypotenuse at 5 across and three down reveals the difference in angle of the altered right triangle. With one the hypotenuse passes just below the lower right corner of the square at 5A3D. with the tricked hypotenuse the line passes through that lower right corner.

My Saturdays are dedicated to my relationship with my Lord. However, I attend a Sunday church because it is close by and there are many opportunities to work in different ministries. I meet other Christians who are Sabbath keepers and also go to a Sunday church. Good thing we have the whole weekend off from work! LOL
God bless you SisterK.
Happy Sabbath to you, Bob.

Your first sentence is an accusation that Yeshua is a liar.
“Born from above” is man made dissonance.
Keeping Torah is the keeping of what is written on your heart.
There is no salvation possible without the keeping of what has been written on your heart. There is also no salvation possible before the Day of Trumpets is blown by Yeshua’s Trumpet.
Very little of your “doctrine” is anything but man made. Your doctrine is simply the result of relying on your personal “idios ipsolusos.”
.
.
Your ideas are based in the concoctions of men. In essence, you are a pharisee of your own making.
If you are having difficulty with Torah to the extent that you claim, it is simply due to the many barriers you have erected to the Spirit of Yeshua.
.
They aren't my ideas. They are my beliefs that come from the Word of God.
If you are having difficulty with Torah
The only one having trouble with the Torah is YOU. It was given in consequence of sin. (Lev. 3-7) It made nothing perfect (Heb 7:19) Pointed to the sacrifice of Christ (2:14-17) It was abolished by Christ (Eph 2:15) It concerns material things - meats, drinks, washings (Heb 9:10 ) It was nailed to the cross by Christ (Col 2:14) You said it was NOT spoken by Moses (post #241) and I gave verses showing that it was indeed. You're two thousand years late to the party, pal. It's over. On to the NEW.
.
So you believe that Yeshua lied. He said that Torah is the standard of obedience for as long as the creation exists (Mat 5)
Your stated beliefs are nowhere to be found in the word.
Torah was not nailed to the cross; that was the Pharisees’ burdensome ordinances that were nailed to the cross.
You suffer with all of the lies that “christianity” invented in the mid 4th century to cancel Yeshua’s earthly ministry, and obliterate his narrow path.
The strong delusion that you advocate has hooks in your jaws. That delusion will be embedded in all who find it more pleasurable than Yeshua’s way.
.
No He didn't lie. He said the Law. The question YOU are confused on is which law. The Torah had a beginning and an END. A strong delusion has made you a modern Pharisee. The Ten Commandments started with Creation and will last for an eternity. That is the Law which standeth forever not the temporary law which was abolished. My stated beliefs are in the Bible but the mote in your eye obscures it.
You spittled out, “Your first sentence is an accusation that Yeshua is a liar.” (from post #281) Then you literally dismissed what JESUS told to Nicodemus in John 3! You are pitiful to behold.
jk
LOL
It has absolutely nothing to do with our present life, other wise we would be able to pass invisibly through a room leaving only the evidence of the wind as he plainly indicated to Nicodemus.
He was literally speaking of a new birth of a new body as a Son of Yehova, rather than as a flesh and blood son of man.
Read your Bible without dispy distorted lenses!
.
.
Or perhaps you are just as goofy as the stuff you post?
.
.
Your utter confusion is impenetrable until you pray for revelation of what you presently refuse to know.
It’ll cost you friends, but get you closer to the promise of eternal life that is presently out of reach to all who practice the lawlessness that you advocate. (the “other” gospel)
.
If you could read the greek of John 3 or find someone to read it to you with prcise English translation, you would perhaps not make a fool of yourself repeating Roodian foolishness like your first sentence. Rood has you enthralled ... look up the full meaning of enthrall.
A promise of God is not bound by dimension time, it is true in a way that transcends time. You seek, or rather your false prophet, Rood, seeks to parse scripture, to attack the basic truths in order to wedge in his empowerment scheme over folks so lazy that they will not ask God to teach them the Truth and instead follow like blind dogs the false teaching of men like Rood. When Jesus told Nicodemus, "Thats the way it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit, {John 3:8} Jesus uses a verb tense showing the action is in the present, noit some future event.
