The Bible informs the wise that the Shroud Of Turin is a Fake. There is no room for debate. The matter is settled. End Of Story
Good to know.
Of course, it it was a fake, whoever could do such a good fake would obviously do their research so as to get the image to fit the descriptions in the Bible. So I don't think those verses mean much with regard to determining if the Shroud is real or not.
More importantly - the verses DO support that Jesus is the Messiah as prophesied in the Old Testament. (Of course if the NT is fake, one would write things that would match up with what the OT said).
Note - I believe the Bible is correct and truthful. The Shroud of Turin I find very interesting as a matter of science. Not so much as a religious artifact. The evidence to me seems to fit with something supernatural occurring about 2000 years ago, and the image fits the description of Jesus’ death. So I believe that it IS the image of Christ. One well-known physicist explained how it might have been caused by a “singularity” (something like that) creating a lot of energy and light. That to me sounds a lot like the Genesis Creation story.
It also sounds a lot like Jesus when He said “I have come to make all things new.” And He did that by His Resurrection - a mini-Creation as it were.
FR is not a Sunday school classroom, bro. Preach elsewhere. You risk damage by insisting your version is truth. Division is a tool of darkness. In that respect, you bear watching.

Closest renditions on the net. Dark hair, olive skinned, Jewish guy. Who would of thunk.
“Read the Bible that you might cure your ignorance. “
Well, then, you should read it again. Insulting arrogance is not exactly Christian.
False interpretation...to suit your purpose...same tactic the Scribes and Pharisees used. You’re a phony.
It’s accurate and proper when trying to caution the lost.
.
Yeshua was a descendant of David, a tall, fair skinned, red haired man.
.
You neither know the Lord nor the Scriptures. You are quite lost.
...1 Corinthians 11:14 Luke 22:64 Isaiah 52:14 John 19:39-40...
It’s explained when you read these verses backwards. ;
I have a granddaughter that matches that description (of the supernatural powers, not the "alien" thing) It's common to all teenage girls. She doesn't understand the "shroud" thing either, I think.
I really don’t care if you spend every single night of your life at a Holiday Inn Express, you are, IMHO, full of scat. As the Brits say: Muck off.

Ummmm...what? I think you have the wrong poster.
I think the Shroud of Turin is the real deal, strange as that may seem.
You posted, “NONSENSE. The Bible does not mention the Shroud of Turin one way or the other”
I simply replied, “#5 Nonsense. The Bible does not mention the Shroud of Turin one way or the other. But is DOES mention the burial shroud! you are the one posting nonsense, but we still love you ‘round here.”
Did I do something wrong? HA! That question was only used as a rhetorical device, no need to reply....
Yes, this is a bad time for our country. When sides are taken, the idolators will be on the enemy’s side. Someone has to wake them up now before it gets too late.

Yeshua constantly insulted the people he accosted, and praised very few.
Would he qualify in your scheme of things ‘Biblical?’
.
If the Shroud is real, it is a physical relic of the Resurrection, in two ways: 1)It is an image of the dead Christ; 2) It is evidence of the moment of the Resurrection, and the Resurrection’s physical effects on a piece of cloth.
Physicists have calculated the duration of the burst of energy, and the power of that burst, that would have been necessary to create the image, and it is utterly beyond the capability of any earthly power to generate.
There are always proud people who will sniff, and praise themselves with, “I need no evidence.” They are too lazy to become informed about the abundance of extra-biblical evidence of biblical events, which exists for good reasons.
The maker of the video, Bubba in his mother’s basement, has studied nothing about photograohy, geometry, physics, or the hundred other sciences that support the authenticity of the Shroud.
Why is it important? It either is fake, or not fake. I don’t care either way. Why should I care?
Thank you.
It (the Shroud as an example) shows the hideous disregard this generation has for the Bible and likewise any sound interpretation thereof.
