The Democratic Party has problems.
Ever since Democrats suffered major, unexpected losses in the November election, political commentators have been speculating about why. One of the biggest reasons pointed to is the party’s disconnect with rural, religious and pro-life voters.
On Friday, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough broached the topic with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.
“How do they reconnect with a middle America who feels like [Democrats] look down on them?” Scarborough asked.
Pelosi emphasized that Democrats are people of faith, but she said they may need to work harder to make that clear. Later in the interview, Pelosi accused Republicans, who by and large are pro-life, of “exploiting” their religious beliefs for political gain, and claimed that their actions do not line up with their beliefs.
“They pray in church on Sunday, and prey on everyone the rest of the week,” Pelosi said. “And while we’re doing the Lord’s work by ministering to the needs of God’s creation, they are ignoring those needs, which is to dishonor the God who made them.”
Later, she added, “We don’t exploit that because we don’t think we’re supposed to, but maybe we have to make it clear.”

As a pro-abortion politician and a self-described Catholic, Pelosi arguably has done the exact opposite. On the abortion issue, she has voted repeatedly against her faith’s teachings about the value of human life, beginning in the womb.
What the Democratic Party made clear last year was that it supports abortion to a radical degree. In July, Pelosi and her party adopted the most radical pro-abortion platform ever, calling to force taxpayers to fund abortions, support the abortion giant Planned Parenthood and embrace abortion on demand up until a baby’s birth.
To many religious Americans, including many Democrats, unborn babies are part of “God’s creation” and deserve protection – but not to Pelosi. In 2013, she put her foot in her mouth during a press conference, calling the battle to keep late-term abortions legal “sacred ground.”
Her stance on abortion is radical in most Americans’ eyes. Polls consistently show that most Americans oppose most abortions. Just a slim percent of Americans want abortion to be legal up until birth, and very few want their tax dollars to pay for abortions.
In contrast, the Republican Party adopted a strong pro-life platform that recognizes unborn babies as human beings who deserve rights and protections under the law.
It is also possible that the Clintons and Planned Parenthood committed other federal offenses including but not limited to:
<><> Title 18 U.S.C. §1341, Mail Fraud, 18 U.S.C.§1001, Presenting a False Document to an Agent of the US Government (involves several felonies and could include forgery);
<><> 18 U.S.C.§1027 False statements and concealment of facts in relation to documents required by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 and other possible offenses including civiland/or criminal RICO violations.
<><> 18 U.S.C. §§1961-68 (RICO Act)18 U.S.C. §1001 (making false Statements to Agents of the US Government),
<><> 18 U.S.C. §241(Conspiracies Against Civil Rights).
<><> Possibly full investigations crentering on RICO conspiracies under 18 U.S.C. §1962(c) could be warranted because (1) the persons (2) were employed by or associated with an enterprise (3) that engaged in or affected interstate commerce and that (4) the persons operated or managed the enterprise (5) through a “pattern” (6) of racketeering activity, and (7) the taxpayers were injured by reason of the “pattern” of racketeering activity.
<><> Alleged Offenses could include Violation of Title 18 U.S.C. §241 – Conspiracy Against Constitutional Rights – which prohibits in relevant part, “two or more persons (from conspiring) to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same . . .” See, 18 U.S.C. §241.
Taxpayers demand investigation by the following agencies commence at once:
<><> FBI — Wire Fraud Division
<><> IRS-Fraud Unit
<><> Department of Justice’s Office of the Inspector General,
<><> Department of Commerce’s Office of Inspector General.
<><> DOJ’s Criminal Division— Public Integrity Section
<><> DOJ Criminal Division—Organized Crime and Gang Section.

In the back of Pelosi’s mind, “As long as they worship the democrat party..”

Each time she takes Communion while unrepentant she takes it to her detriment and eventually damnation as do others who neither examine themselves nor repent, nor ask for forgiveness from a gracious and merciful Savior.

I have NO idea whether Nancy Pelosi has or has not, personally, procured an abortion. I’m not in the confessional when she’s there.
That’s not what’s the question here.
“Her sin was and is public.”
Everyone knows she advocates abortion, and everyone knows that the DNC party, including herself, accepts millions from Planned Parenthood.
Yes, THAT is her sin, which many people believe is far worse than one individual woman having an abortion.
Yet **the church** HAS NOT excommunicated her, although I believe **God** may have indeed already passed sentence.
I say **may have** because I cannot presume to know the mind of God.
“The Bishop should be calling on her to publicly recant before allowing her communion.”
Perhaps she privately confesses to this sin in the confessional, but she continues to publicly advocate for PP. If so, this would indicate a lack of genuine remorse, thus a mockery of confession.
She continues to receive communion.
Thus, as you said, the Bishop SHOULD withhold communion, but does not.
She has not been formally excommunicated from the church.
The latae sententiae of the canon is being disregarded by the Bishop.
