My wife was not feeling at all well this morning as she accompanied me at a podiatrist's appointment at the V.A. When we got home her condition worsened. She could barely see, had a pounding headache and was very dizzy. So we drove to the emergency room of a close-by hospital, where they did numerous tests. She is in the midst of an ongoing stroke.
Please pray for her.
My husband had what sounds like a similar stroke a few yeas ago now (2008 to be precise). It affected the “balance” part of the brain. No permanent damage to speech or cognitive abilities. Really no visible permanent damage.
She has to do exactly what the docs tell her for a couple of years. Husband’s stroke was precipitated by diabetes that had been ‘borderline’ then shot thru the roof, setting off the stroke. As of a year or two ago, he is off of ALL diabetes meds because he was religious about doing what he was told. And nothing further resulting from the stroke. Good luck to both of you.
When stuff like this happens, everything stops.
Prayers for your wife’s complete recovery and for you.
Did he say what kind of stroke?
I had such a small stroke with no immediate apparent damage. I was home in one day.
It took 3 years to figure out I was having seizures from the first day of the stroke.
I just saw this.
I am praying for your wife, and you.
Prayers offered. Amen
Lord Jesus Christ heal, we beseech Thee, Thy servant’s stroke and bless her husband.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
Prayers up for you and your wife.
Healing prayers for Barbara continue and prayers for your comfort and strength.
Father God,
Creator of us all,
Hold 2DV and his dear wife in Your healing hand, we pray.
Restore her completely, so that she may glorify You.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen!
How are you doing now?
TIA ?
My prayers, FRiend.
Matt 18:20
UPDATE: Talked with her earlier this evening. Shes nauseous and vomiting. The neurologist told her that she had the best kind of stoke, if youre going to have a stroke, because its the least likely to cause permanent damage, whatever that means. Please continue your prayers. Thank you.
Thank you for posting an update. Continued prayers for your dear wife. Good news on what the neurologist is saying.
Praise God! What wonderful news! Father, in the Name of Jesus, we ask that you continue to bring healing to this lady. Amen
Excellent news.
Keeping her in my prayers.
I will, Vet.
Thank you very much for the update.
Lord, please watch over Vet and his wife.
Here is hoping for continued good news and improvement.
Take care my FRiend. Keep a positive attitude.
We’ll keep praying for you two.
Will keep up the prayers. I hope the docs can stop her nausea.
