A week after the election, the Huffington Post published a blog entry in which Progressive Christians suggested what like-minded Christians should do in order to “take back their faith.”
Still reeling from the election in which Donald Trump was elected president, several progressive Christians pondered the necessary steps to draw a stronger contrast between their brand of kindhearted progressive Christianity, and the kind of conservative, evangelical Christianity that helped elect Donald Trump.
The responses were predictably representative of left-wing Christianity, which centered on re-emphasizing social justice issues and identity politics as the “loving,” compassionate, anti-Trumpian counterpart to the hate-filled Christianity of the right. Also predictably representative was the tone of unearned moral superiority in the responses of the progressive Christians interviewed – and progressive Christians in general.

how can pro abortion, pro sodomy “christians” take back, what they never had?
“Progressive” churches fight a losing battle, and just morph into businesses; once we’re all saved there is no reason to wake up on Sundays (and even less to donate). A co-worker involved is such a “church” showed me a magazine decades ago; half the articles were dedicated to obtaining tax exemption for your organization. The rest was advertisements; no theology even mentioned/discussed...
Yeppers....that's the Progressives alright... Change..... Change everything about yourself.. your clothes, wear PJ's everywhere you go... Change your hair, purple maybe.. Your country and Constitution, socialism... Change your sex, be a girl or a boy like thing, if that's what you want... Change your bible, why you can even change your God... Surely Mother Earth will take care of all of us....
Take some advice....ANYTIME a suppositly man of God tells you that you must accept the LGBT as NORMAL and righteous tell THAT son to get the hell out of your church as quick as he (she) can find the door...!

The ‘taking back’ is actually a call for them to redouble their efforts at destroying Christianity and erecting a secular humanist religion in the image of ‘progressivism’ == “long live marx, engels, lenin & stalin.”
Isa 4:1 speaks of this.
Isa 4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, "We will eat our own food and wear our own apparel; Only let us be called by your name, To take away our reproach." In that day= last days. 7 women= women are churches 7= Christian churches. take hold of one man= Jesus. We will eat our own food= make up our own doctrine. And wear our own apparel= garments are righteousness and our righteousness is as filthy rags before God. Let us be called by your name to take away our reproach= I want to be called Christian, even though I call evil good, and good evil, being called Christian is catchier that being called the church of Satan or follower of Babylon.
If Jesus is King of Kings, following a political dogma over Christ won't work. Don't "imagine" what Jesus would do, but do what Jesus would do. Listening to false teachers will get you into hell.
They don’t have to take anything back, just start a new Denomination and denominate it Progressive Christianity. Literally dozens of people will rush to join and proclaim their faith in the Process.
