I’ve seen it and I go to mass every week. Fr. Thomas is correct. Mr. Baines, the writer, is confused. We take a lot for granted? Ok. We also spill the beans. Fr. Thomas is talking about something else. Catholics learned from St. Peter and St. Paul who dealt with Simon Magnus. Non-Catholics are slowly wondering the deal. Hell is the place of no God and all desire for God. Yup. Sounds like hell.

‘This kind’

None other that Jesus himself tells us there are different kinds, where some are worse than others,

But its also clear from the Book of Daniel, the ones that rattle chains down rickety staircases in the dead of night are not the ‘kind’ that rule over cult groups and regions and even entire nations,

These ‘principalities and powers’ appear very much to be mobile and something else besides a spirit seeking embodiment in some downtrodden drifter turning them into a ritualistic even animalistic serial killers, where its very visible in the eyes,

Just conjecture of course,

This activity in both extremes is much more prevalent than even most believers realize and anyone awake and having encountered this directly will understand.

In this regard I’m very much glad for the Catholic Church to stand at the ready, there are not that many others that will,
