Check the book of Revelation for one of many, many cases in the bible of intercessory prayer and Saints praying.I got to chapters 2&3 and they were all about CATHOLIC churches that were messed up.

Revelation 8:4 is the verse, along with the verses around it, which give a great example of intercessory prayer and prayers of saints.
