My prayers hit the ceiling two decades, and when I put God to the test, my ancestor gods clearly answered and Yahweh clearly wouldn’t. If I believe there’s a Creator in control of everything, then I have to diverge from the path of desert deities and apply myself to a nordic father that answers. Whether saint or godling or bodhisattva, whattever He is, He answers.

And actually, a Valhalla without Christians might be all right. No halo wars.

Ketill - Odin/Woden and other Nordic deities were more deities who you placated to keep them away from you, or to take possession of your body during battle. The Germanic gods don't have any tales in which they help humans out of any sense of duty, leave alone love. So, unless this was a battle hymn you prayed, I wonder how you would associate this with the Nordic deities

you then say "nordic father", "saint", "godling", "bodhisattva" -- all four are utterly different. The "NOrdic father" or allfather was Woden/Odin -- hardly a god one pled with, he was pretty nasty, you just tried to placate him to keep him far from you. "Saint" is a Christian term, so different. Godling - a minor deity, again different from Odin. Bodhissatva - one who overcomes the cycle of re-incarnation, again utterly different from the other four -- are you just tossing words together?

Finally - "halo wars" -- really?
