Pope Francis, in an interview with the French newspaper La Croix, suggested a likeness between ISIS and Jesus by explaining that while the idea of conquest is inherent in the soul of Islam, it was quite possible to interpret certain passages of the Gospels, particularly in Matthews, as a call for Christians to go forth with this same idea of conquest in their discipleship.
He also faulted the free market for driving poverty, saying economies need a state to monitor and balance them; gun manufacturers for fueling wars; and the failures of Christians in Europe to properly assimilate with Muslims as causing much of the tensions of recent times ostensibly, to include acts of terror.
His specific words, according to an English interpretation of his comments: Today, I dont think that there is a fear of Islam as such but of ISIS and its war of conquest, which is partly drawn from Islam. It is true that the idea of conquest is inherent in the soul of Islam. However, it is also possible to interpret the objective in Matthews Gospel, where Jesus sends his disciples to all nations, in terms of the same idea of conquest.

Pope Francis is an evil man. He is not a man of God. He is not a Catholic.

Shocker? Not at all, the reverse would be a shocker.

More and more evidence for a different answer to the proverbial question, “Is the Pope a Catholic?”

Pope Che does the bidding of the global elites, who essentially worship Satan.
Does he worship Satan too?
Because it sure looks like he serves evil, from his acts.

So basically, Matthew advocated jihad, communism should be the world's economic system, guns should be banned, and the Western world should open its doors wide open to Muslims.
One can only imagine what's next.

Good grief. Is he the harlot? A Pope who thinks Christianity and Islam share a commonality in God and practice? Where’s the hook for this guy?

It makes me want to go to Church and receive the Sacraments all the more. The Church is the Church, even if we are suffering from a bad Pope and numerous bad prelates. The last thing we need to do is to help them do their dirty work of destroying the Church.
I pray daily that God will enlighten this Pope, or if God thinks it right, remove him from this world and this post. Francis is not the first evil Pope. Previous Popes have weakened the Church and divided it, but have never succeeded in destroying it or imposing heresies on it in any official way.

This pope couldn’t be more confused, even if he tried. Maybe he is a trans-pope? You know, a confused, mentally ill pope.

This is one confused dude. Yep. And he is quickly becoming a dupe of the Islamists, a propaganda asset if you will.

As a Protestant, I have been told by a few Roman Catholic on this forum, I am damned to hell because I don't belong to the one true Roman Catholic Church...
The same Catholic Church who decided to promote an avowed Marxist to lead and function as the head of the "one true church"
I don't expect an apology...

"Withdraw from Christendom the Bible, the Church with its sacraments and ministry, and Christian morality and hopes, and aspirations for time and eternity; repeal all the laws that are founded in the Christian Scriptures; remove the Christian humanities in the form of hospitals and asylums, and reformatories and institutions of mercy utterly unknown to unchristian countries; destroy the literature, the culture, the institutions of learning, the art, the refinement, the place of woman in her home and in society, which owe their origin and power to Christianity; blot out all faith in Divine Providence, love, and righteousness; turn back every believer in Christ to his former state; remove all thought or hope of the forgiveness of sins by a just but gracious God; erase the name of Christ from every register it sanctifiesin a word annihilate all the legitimate and logical effects of Christianity in Christendomjust accomplish in fact what multitudes of gifted and learned minds are wishing and trying to accomplish by their science, philosophy, and criticism, and what multitudes of the common people desire and seek, and not only would all progress toward and unto perfection cease, but not one of the shining lights of infidelity would shine much longer. Yes, the bitterest enemies of this holy and blessed religion, owe their ability to be enemies to its sacred revelations - to the inspiration and sublimity of that faith which reflects its glories on their hostile natures. They live in the strength of that which they would destroy. They are raised to their seats of opportunity and power by the grace of Him they would crucify afresh; and is it to be thought that they are stronger than that which gives them strength? Can it be supposed that a religion which civilizes and subdues, and elevates and blesses will succumb to the enmities it may arouse and quicken in its onward march? Are we to tremble for the ark of God when God is its upholder, and protector, and preserver? - Dr. Benjaming W. Arnett, Ohio State Legislator and A.M.E. Bishop, St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Urbana, Ohio, Centennial (of the Declaration of Independence) Thanksgiving Sermon, November 1876. Arnett's "Sermon" is available in the "Library of Congress - Historical Collections" - "African-American Pamphlets from the Daniel A. P. Murray Collection," 1820-1920; American Memory, Washington, DC.

I agree. This is what I do: I make my donation very specifically: I write checks to, for example, “St. Mary's Grade SCHOOL”. I don't give to the diocese in general or even the parish in general, and you won't catch me giving to anything with the UCCB’s name attached to it. Give to Catholic grade schools and high schools. They need the money and most bishops would like to close them so they could funnel the money to social justice nonsense.
