Senator Ted Cruz has often stated that Jesus Christ is central to his life. He talks about how his father had left his family but returned after receiving the gospel, how his mother turned to Christ, and how this changed his life:
I was raised in the church. When I was eight years old [I] gave [my life] to Jesus. [To] know that I am redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, nothing is more important to me. I am a new creature in Christ, and it [is] central to who I am today.
I couldnt run for president without relying heavily on my faith . From the day we launched the campaign, Heidi and I have prayed simply that his will would be done. Each day, we try not to seek his hand (asking for help winning the race), but rather to seek his face (praying that his love and glory would be seen every day in the campaign).
Cruzs unashamed affirmation of Christ resonates deeply with many Christians. But it has also created concern among many Christians and non-Christians alike. In this article, wed like to clarify what we believe are misrepresentations of Cruzs faith and its relationship to his politics....

I don’t know how you got this “instead of” insinuation.
I wouldn’t mind someone who preaches on the side (nobody said that saxophone playing made Bill Clinton a better or worse president), but not as pretending that it is a capacity of a secular office. Such combinations inevitably dumb down the church and whitewash the state. Each is ugly of itself and it’s even uglier together.
Some of trumps money was strip clubs. Again, trump using girls for financial gain. Wait tell Hillary tells the country about that.
What are you insinuating?
I have heard more than one story about that. Some say Donald owns no strip club and never did. He has owned casinos.
Wait until Hillary is your President.
I don't see evidence of that; instead I see a politician willing to do anything to gain power that was not granted by the voters.
What I have heard is that a strip club moved in as a tenant in a building that Trump owned, but this occurred after he sold his interest in the property.
He said what was allowed in those places. He posed on Playboy's cover and keeps it framed front and center on display at his office.
Read the Bible much?
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:8-10
“Id wager a lot of people have”
Me too. Now my wife has an uncanny ability to spot a fraud. Even back in the early days of the campaign, I would talk about how smart Cruz was and she would tell me not to be fooled. In particular, she noticed how he would raise his arm when talking about a topic that he was passionate about. She said it was a dead giveaway. I trust her judgement.
He just said last week he week to get rid of NATO. He got in trouble for it.
Here’s his interview saying he’s for universal health care.
Scott Pelley: What’s your plan for Obamacare?
Donald Trump: Obamacare’s going to be repealed and replaced. Obamacare is a disaster if you look at what’s going on with premiums where they’re up 40, 50, 55 percent.
Scott Pelley: How do you fix it?
Donald Trump: There’s many different ways, by the way. Everybody’s got to be covered. This is an un-Republican thing for me to say because a lot of times they say, “No, no, the lower 25 percent that can’t afford private. But—”
Scott Pelley: Universal health care.
Donald Trump: I am going to take care of everybody. I don’t care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody’s going to be taken care of much better than they’re taken care of now.
Scott Pelley: The uninsured person is going to be taken care of. How? How?
Donald Trump: They’re going to be taken care of. I would make a deal with existing hospitals to take care of people. And, you know what, if this is probably—
Scott Pelley: Make a deal? Who pays for it?
Donald Trump: —the government’s gonna pay for it. But we’re going to save so much money on the other side. But for the most it’s going to be a private plan and people are going to be able to go out and negotiate great plans with lots of different competition with lots of competitors with great companies and they can have their doctors, they can have plans, they can have everything.
I’m not just evil, but a hater according to one of your fellow Cruziacs.
And I don’t take out the grapefruit rinds when I recycle.
You guys are trying to tar those of us who can’t stand Cruz as “anti-Christian.”
That kind of conflation is weak even for you guys.
Some of trumps money was strip clubs. Again, trump using girls for financial gain.
I’ve heard that is false.
Provide a link.
Good for her. Cruz had me bamboozled too. I’m usually pretty good with spotting a fake, but I’m embarrassed to say that he got me.
Scores In Atlanta was the first one he opened. Check it out yourself.
Well fine, so what was actually done? Do we have evidence that he permitted or arranged for strip acts in casinos?
Playboy can feature pretty feeble things, like Jimmy Carter and the lust he said was in his heart. Knowing that peanut farmer, we would probably say lust was the least bad of his sins. It’s more likely Playboy felt itself to be honored by Trump than vice versa.
Quote: According to reports, Trump Taj Mahal would not operate the strip club, only lease the space. /End quote
That is making money renting out a strip club.
Why don’t you produce the evidence yourself.
