It must be very sad to be so lacking in faith...

It must be very reassuring to be so full of faith in RCC teachings.

....I REALLY feel sorry that you cannot comprehend the fantastic gift of transubstantiation that Christ PERSONALLY handed to us...

....I REALLY feel sorry that you cannot comprehend the fantastic gift of the Bible that Rome compiled that states the simplicity that is found in Jesus and His words:

“The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

If a person is making a claim to be Christian I believe they should act like a Christian, not in a hypocritical manner.

HMMMmmm...

But I thought that ACTING was the very definition of hypocrisy?

This is gonna be tough!

John 14:12
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing...

I've yet to heal anyone, raise a person from the dead or feed 5000+ with a few loaves and fish.

I guess; judging by the very words of Jesus: I am not a Christian.

MANY of my professors said the same thing.....just before they acknowledged my points of view and rewarded me with VERY high marks.

And then you fasted twice a week.

The only way to avoid my critique and ridicule is not to have Protestant views on key points of faith or at least admit that these views are a result of speculation and not reading of the Holy Scripture.

Matthew 15:16
"Are you still so dull?" Jesus asked them.

You have to “excel in good works” (Titus 3:8).

Titus 3:8 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)
It is a faithful saying: and these things I will have thee affirm constantly: that they, who believe in God, may be careful to excel in good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

TWIST!

Yes....He did, while the occasion was indeed the Passover, the Last Supper became the inception of the Eucharist...the beginnings of Christianity and Catholicism.

Thanks for showing; so plainly; that Rome invented Communion.

Yeah, it was...there was no one else there...the early church formed in the area and moved to Rome...

What 'area'?

Common sense wants to know.

It certainly does.....but only if we REPENT and acknowledge our guilt, and vow not to re-offend...otherwise what's the point???

HMMMmmm...

What if one DOES; ahem; re-offend?

THEN what??

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

Romans, Catholic chapter eleven, Protestant verse twenty two,
First Corinthians, Catholic chapter ten, Protestant verses one to twelve,
Phillipians, Catholic chapter two, Protestant verses five to sixteen,
as authorized, but not authored, by King James

I think, MM, that others viewing the RF forum will see that the Evangelical participants, though from many different local assembly experience, tend to show as much or more consistency with themselves and with the clear mandates of the Holy Scripture than the Roman traditionalists. They have been at it 1,600 years and still come up with the cup half full (neglecting the abused boys) and draining as we go forward, rather than full and overflowing. N’est ce pas?

Catholics ALWAYS post the truth...outside Catholicism there is no truth

And there you have it folks!

An excellent example of what HIGH MARKS will get you: a non-ending repetition of the FACTS found here:

"One indeed is the universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved, in which the priest himself is the sacrifice, Jesus Christ, whose body and blood are truly contained in the sacrament of the altar under the species of bread and wine; the bread (changed) into His body by the divine power of transubstantiation, and the wine into the blood, so that to accomplish the mystery of unity we ourselves receive from His (nature) what He Himself received from ours."

--Pope Innocent III and Lateran Council IV (A.D. 1215)

Therefore, if anyone says that it is not by the institution of Christ the lord himself (that is to say, by divine law) that blessed Peter should have perpetual successors in the primacy over the whole Church; or that the Roman Pontiff is not the successor of blessed Peter in this primacy: let him be anathema.

--Vatican 1, Ses. 4, Cp. 1

...they are the protesters against the truth....

It appears your HIGHMARKS are starting to make you forgetful.

These guys - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bad_Popes - and their wonderful illustrations of how the highest levels of Catholic teaching had been SO effective; are the TRUTH that had been protested against.
