And right now, I am really going to fry some of Gorton’s breaded filets for my supper, so in these two posts I am speaking in both literal and figurative-literal language. If your hermeneutic is allegorical, you’re not really going to understand what I said. The only expository interpretation that will work on it is a literal-grammatical-historical-cultural approach.

John 6:28-29
Then they asked him, What must we do to do the works God requires?
Jesus answered, The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.
Rome answered, The work of God is this:
to lead the CORRECT Catholic lifestyle...
to marry an opposite gendered person he/she chooses (unless HE's gonna be a Catholic priest)...
plays bingo whenever the Church is running the house...
gets a VALID baptism...
has as many children as humping rabbits can have... (WAIT! says Francis)...
lavishly adores, venerates, prays to Mary so that their prayers can be moved to the front of the line for answering...
adds to their carbon footprint/global warming by lighting innumerable candles...
...then, after all, and much, MUSH more - we can't promise ya nothin'.

First comment is correct, that's why transubstantiation does NOT violate God's law. You've made an idol out of the whole ritual.

The Catholics were pagans for the 1st 300 years of Christendom...Now, now...
Don't go holding them seven churches in Asia against our non-homogenized Catholic brothers and sisters.

Correct. So the faith present in the works saves him despite the declarative faith being to the contrary, whereas declarative faith not present in the works does nothing. I don't know why you can't see that you are STILL saying works save apart from faith. There will no doubt be many well meaning, "good" atheists in hell. At least those in heaven who did good to the Lord through their kindness to the least of His brethren believed that He was the Lord.

....My Bible has a story where Jesus went to the temple, saw some business being carried on, and tossed the men and their money and displays out of the temple....I merely asked your opinion of it. ....My Bible has a story where GOD created the World and all there is in it.
We are quite aware of your opinion of it.

Catholics were the ONLY Christians in the world for about 1,600 years....And they did such a GOOD job of it; too!

Are you insinuating, for one fleet second, that is one believes that Jesus is the savior.....that the person can lead whatever lifestyle he chooses, marry whichever sex person he chooses, divorces that person, marries another, demands that she have an abortion,.....and on and on and on....is saved???????????????????????????????It's odd to me that a professing Christian would even ask such a question...
Joh 8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
Gal 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
Col 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Col 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
Col 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
You do not seem to understand what happens to a person when he/she becomes a born again Christian...It is not something we do or don't do...It is what God does to us...

I cannot give you a dissertation each time you post a one-liner.
The truth is that we are sanctified by both faith and works of faith. We are not sanctified solely by faith and we are not sanctified solely by works. No goal posts have been moved.
