mocking us is a ministry of Catholicism

Eh, no. Catholicism calls you "separated brethren". My mocking of the Protestants is my one self-selected apostolate. Simply because you guys are funny.

Evangelicals take the act of partaking in communion as metaphorical.

What's the penalty for a Prot; who shows up in a Catholic service; and takes communion along with the others?

A person who FAILS (in Catholic eyes) to 'discern' the 'body and blood' of Jesus?

... it is somehow to imbibe the spirit of Christ afresh as well.

The 'somehow' is not spelled out; that I can find.

Philipians 2:5-8 (DRA)

For let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

But emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men, and in habit found as a man.

He humbled himself, becoming obedient unto death, even to the death of the cross.

Frankly... I think Protestants should be bold to be Protestants even if Catholics “damn us to hell.”

 Philipians 2:19-21  (DRA)

19 And I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy unto you shortly, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know the things concerning you.

20 For I have no man so of the same mind, who with sincere affection is solicitous for you.   (not even PETER?)

21 For all seek the things that are their own; not the things that are Jesus Christ's.

The Catholic view, based on the uninterrupted patristic teaching and on the Holy Scripture, is that the Eucharist contains, as a miracle, the real presence of Christ in it.

Oh REALLY?

Rome sure has been wrong a long, LONG time!

I wonder why 'communion - Catholic style' wasn't mentioned in the LETTER found in Acts chapter 15...?

But what if they try to put your screen name into the large OXYMORON list?

The Catholic view is that declarative faith alone does not save.

Surely you recognize the scripture behind each word.

Well; who in their right mind can deny THIS!?!?!

Take this, all of you, and eat of it:
for this is my body which will be given up for you.
Take this, all of you, and drink from it:
for this is the chalice of my blood,
the blood of the new and eternal covenant.
which will be poured out for you and for many
for the forgiveness of sins.
Do this in memory of me.

But surely; when ALL of the 'words' are taken in context;
one can SEE that they are NOT the WORDS that Jesus is recorded to have said.

22:1-2, 14-20      Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)

But the festival of Matzah, known as Pesach, was approaching; and the head cohanim and the Torah-teachers began trying to find some way to get rid of Yeshua, because they were afraid of the people.

14 When the time came, Yeshua and the emissaries reclined at the table, 15 and he said to them, “I have really wanted so much to celebrate this Seder with you before I die! 16 For I tell you, it is certain that I will not celebrate it again until it is given its full meaning in the Kingdom of God.”

17 Then, taking a cup of wine, he made the b’rakhah and said, “Take this and share it among yourselves. 18 For I tell you that from now on, I will not drink the ‘fruit of the vine’ until the Kingdom of God comes.” 19 Also, taking a piece of matzah, he made the b’rakhah, broke it, gave it to them and said, “This is my body, which is being given for you; do this in memory of me.” 20 He did the same with the cup after the meal, saying, “This cup is the New Covenant, ratified by my blood, which is being poured out for you.

St. Paul teaches Real Presence in 1 Cor. 11:29.

Oh?

Interesting...

1 Corinthians 11:29
For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves.

Transubstantiation is a way to explain a miracle in rational terms.

Oh?

Transubstantiation is a way to conjure up a miracle when none has been shown to have occurred.

Why, our authentic self is the way we were made, free from sin.

David agrees with 'way we were made'; but comes to a TOTALLY different conclusion:

Psalm 51:5
Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Genesis 1:31
God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.

The story continues...

Genesis 5:3-4
When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth. 4 After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.

The Eucharist IS Christ on the Cross . You lack faith.

But my common sense makes up for it.

The enemies of Christ are. Many Protestants are in that group.

O...
K...

The Mormons half-way agree with you...

Orson Pratt proclaimed:

"Both Catholics and Protestants are nothing less than the 'whore of Babylon' whom the Lord denounces by the mouth of John the Revelator as having corrupted all the earth by their fornications and wickedness. Any person who shall be so corrupt as to receive a holy ordinance of the Gospel from the ministers of any of these apostate churches will be sent down to hell with them, unless they repent" (The Seer, p. 255).

"One indeed is the universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved, in which the priest himself is the sacrifice, Jesus Christ, whose body and blood are truly contained in the sacrament of the altar under the species of bread and wine; the bread (changed) into His body by the divine power of transubstantiation, and the wine into the blood, so that to accomplish the mystery of unity we ourselves receive from His (nature) what He Himself received from ours."

--Pope Innocent III and Lateran Council IV (A.D. 1215)

Therefore, if anyone says that it is not by the institution of Christ the lord himself (that is to say, by divine law) that blessed Peter should have perpetual successors in the primacy over the whole Church; or that the Roman Pontiff is not the successor of blessed Peter in this primacy: let him be anathema.

--Vatican 1, Ses. 4, Cp. 1

You mental block here is the error that we are saved by faith alone.

Your total acceptance, of what Rome has taught you, completely nullifies Hebrews, chapter 11.
