SHOULD CHRISTIANS FIGHT COMMUNISM?

Before any attempt is made to answer this question, we must first clearly understand the term "Christian." Let's see what a Christian is not, then what a Christian is.

A true Christian is not a "non-Jew, a do-gooder, a nice guy, one who goes to a church building, pays dues, sings hymns, provides for his family, etc." You should go to a place where God's word is faithfully preached and practiced, but going into a church building wil not make you a Christian any more than going into a barn will make you a cow or going into a garage will make you an automobile. Most of the above listed virtues are excellent, and should be a part of every man's life, but they do not make you a true Christian. Church membership, baptism, confirmation, turning over a new leaf, cleaning up one's self, joining the various religious societies, etc., will never make you a true Christian.

True Christians are people who have had a life-transforming experience with the Lord Jesus Christ. They have been made new on the inside; thus they live new and different on the outside. Only as a person sees himself lost in sin and cut off from the God of heaven, doomed and damned and in urgent need of mercy, help and deliverance will he ever become a true Christian. Only after a man understands he is lost, will he ever seek to be found. Our sins have cut us off from God (Isa. 59:1-2); they have caused us to go astray (Isa. 53:6); they will finally shut us out of heaven when earthly life is over (Rev. 21:27) and will take us into eternal death and torment at last (Rom. 6:23, Matt. 25:41). God so loved the world (John 3:16) that He sent His only Son the Lord Jesus Christ into this world of woe and suffering. Christ lived the only perfect and sinless life (I Peter 2:22). Tempted, torn and tested (Heb. 4:15, Luke 4:1-2) both by Satan and sin, He stands the perfect one, with no stain or spot of sin! This sinless one went to a Roman cross, was lifted up, and there God laid on Him YOUR sins and MINE! He suffered and died and thus paid the penalty for our sins that we should have suffered and died for (Rom. 5:6, 8). He did for us what we were helpless to do for ourselves. After dying for our sins, He rose from the grave, thus conquering sin, death and the grave. The one who died for us now lives to save us!

If any person will repent (turn from) his sins and by simple faith, receive what Christ has already done for him in His death and resurrection, God will perform a supernatural miracle within that person's very being! He will be turned into a new person by a miracle of God's saving grace. He becomes a true Christian. God has given the grand invitation to all who desire to become a true Christian, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Rom. 10:13). Stop and call on Him now!

Back to the original question, "Should Christians Fight Communism?" This is self-answering once we understand the answer to a deeper question, Should Christians fight against evil and sin? How is it that true Christians often unite their forces to oppose modernism, liberalism, the inroads of evolution in its various forms, the false cults and other things rising to threaten the faith. But thousands of the same "fighters" become deathly silent regarding the biggest, most powerful and successful foe ever to rise in their faces, or in the entire course of history since the earthly days of Christ. That foe is socialistic-communism. It has a shocking record since 1917 that is unequalled in all the pages of earth's history for two thousand years! Yet for some strange reason, too many Christians (even so-called fundamentalists and conservatives) become stone-silent about this fearful and gigantic issue. Why? If it is right for true Christians to fight the forces of sin and evil, then how can it be suddenly wrong and unscriptural for them to oppose communism? Are some of the pastors and preachers promoting this untruth, communist themselves, or are they just plain stupid?

We are instructed to look at the prophets. "Take my brethren, the prophets... for an example" (James 5:10). The pages of the Old Testament thunder with the drama and excitement of men of God standing in firm opposition to the godlessness of their days. "Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the Lord?" (II Chron. 19:2). David counted those who opposed and hated God as his enemies also (Psa. 139:21-22). Enoch, Noah, Jeremiah, Amos, Nahum and others "fought to the teeth" the sin and evil of their times. We must learn from these examples what to do.

The New Testament abounds with the same lessons. John the Baptist lost his head for openly denouncing the adulterous actions of the wicked King (Matt. 14:4). Faithful Paul clashed with that "false prophet" on the isle of Cyprus (Acts 13:4-11). Even our Lord Jesus said of the false doctrine of the group called the Nicolaitans, "...which thing I hate" (Rev. 2:15). Paul even turned some blasphemers "over to Satan" (I Tim. 1:20). Our Lord was hated and hounded by the unsaved religionists of his day, for He exposed their lies and hypocrisies (Matt. 23, John 7:1). Have we failed to learn from these examples?

"The blood of the martyrs" is still the "seed of the church." Church history speaks clearly about the fact that our heritage of faith has been preserved and maintained because men and women of God stood against satanic and demonic evils, channeled through and practiced by vain, wicked persons, who were reprobate concerning the faith. And the same church history tells the price they often paid for this stand.

Yet in the face of all of this, certain leading Christians and fundamentalist believers can be heard saying, "Don't get involved in this communist-scare fever. Best to leave it alone." One is put into deep and serious wonder over such preposterous and inconsistent statements coming from the mouths and pens of men who continually remind us, "they won't compromise with the devil and sin in any fashion." Their treacherous silence on the subject of communism is in fact a form of compromise against the God of heaven, His Holy Son, His Holy Word, and the countless millions of fellow-Christians, who have died worse than wild animals under the hell of this atheistic tyranny.

Probably nothing has so hindered and hurt in the battle against communism as "the Extremist." Many concerned Christians who have been somewhat awakened and alarmed as they see communism slowly spreading like a great red wave across the face of the entire earth, have been put off by the wild extremists. Anti-communism preachers, lecturers, and workers often have the true but sad reputation of becoming short-sighted fanatics ranting and raving about the "great conspiracy" and having time for nothing else. They neglect the Word of God, prayer, missions, the local church, soul-winning and preaching always Christ as the answer. These "one track" specialists are often tricked by the very devil they seek to oppose, and abandon the first and basic message for all men everywhere, the Gospel of Salvation. All such only serves to bring shame to the great cause of Christ and country. Such men and actions actually frighten many away from their duty. And the heart of the communist is made glad and merry, for now his opposition is less and his freedom to continue his dirty work is increased.

Those Christians who refuse to fight communism because of so many extremists are often caught by their own words. Since wild extremists are often heard and found distorting such doctrines as baptism, missions, church discipline, tithing, separation, the Holy Spirit, the return of Christ, then why don't the same anti-anti-communists likewise refuse to deal with these issues? How many ministers of God who read these lines refuse to preach on the Holy Spirit, or Baptism, or the coming of Christ, because "fanatics" have abused these holy teachings? Why are you not balanced in your separation from extremism? Why do some of you practice "separation from extremism" only when it pertains to the communists and not all the way? This is in reality a cover excuse being used to justify a form of disobedience and to neglect a most serious responsibility. In time it will come back onto the heads of those who continue to use it.

Satan has produced some very high-sounding "reasons" and thousands of Christians are repeating them, on his behalf, as grounds for not getting involved with the communist issue. Let's examine most of the best ones.

How religious and pious these words fall onto our ears. How fundamental and non-compromising they sound. Yet, they are the overtones of blatant ignorance. They reveal a shocking lack of information regarding the enemy. However, the exact reverse is true. Communism is NOT politics of any sort. Instead it is a secret, bloody, ruthless, criminal conspiracy coming to power via terror, subversion, lies and horrible revolution. Communists are taught that power in the field of politics, "comes from the end of a gun barrel." Basic communist textbooks decry legitimate political bodies as enemies. Often clever enough to disguise itself as a "legally-constituted political organization," in fact it is not. Such carefully planned masquerades deceive millions of uninformed people.

Belief that Christians should not get involved in true politics is not sound reasoning. Bible-believing Christians should be the very best of citizens and patriots. Indeed, a Christian who does not love his country, who does not take an intelligent interest in public affairs, who does not cherish the ideals and principles of liberty is certainly out of step with the will of God. One thing is sure, when dealing with the socialistic-communistic conspiracy, you are not dealing with politics.

Separation of church and state has been taken to such extremes that thousands of saved, humble Christians honestly feel that they will sin against God, if they, as individuals carry out their rightful political obligations. Separation of church and state has now become "insulation between church and state." Most Christians living under this false notion, have unwittingly turned the affairs of their government over to the devil's crowd and they have seized upon this opportunity with the speed of lightning. Human government, though ordained of God (Rom. 13:1-7) as ministers of God for our good," has now been abandoned by Christians, forsaken and refused. Satan has captured this "tool of God for our good" and placed his men in control. Consequently the nation suffers, but especially Christians. Too many times it is the fruit of our own doings and ignorance.

We must pray and work for Christian politicians to direct our nation, under God. As we send men and women into every area of life and society to serve God, it is high time we sent some dedicated, fearless Christian politicians to clean the shameful mess out of our nation's capitol. We must demand and call for born-again, godly, honest, upright men and women in control of our government and the crooks, sex perverts, leftists, drunkards and communist-kissers thrown out. Christians must faithfully support those men who stand for the principles of freedom, justice and righteousness and vigorously oppose those men who would undermine and destroy these principles. It is imperative that Christians make properly informed, intelligent evaluations of every candidate and issue; pray and act for God's glory and man's good.

Communism is not politics and those who hide behind this excuse are working for their own slavery and doom. When Moscow sent a million bayonets to crush the "freedom fighters" in Hungary and Czechoslovakia it was a crime of the highest nature to dare mention these brutal deeds for a few seconds in the average pulpit. "No politics in the pulpit" we heard. But when the socialists, bankers, communists, insiders and KGB agents in Washington, began to stick their pink noses into the Christian schools of America, into our homes and businesses, etc. there was an explosion of atomic nature resounding from those same "no politic pulpits." It all depends upon who is on the "receiving end of the dirty work." How hypocritical can we become. Communism is NOT politics so get into the fight.

Sensitive Christians base this "reason" on verses found in Matt. 22:21, Rom. 13:1-7, & I Peter 2:13-17. Clearly, Holy Scripture commands the believer to be subject and submissive to his government. And the same Bible also teaches us what to do when those who rule over us tell us we cannot be saved, we cannot trust the Lord Jesus Christ, we cannot teach our children the ways of our God and His Word, the Bible is a forbidden and banned book, prayer meetings shall be no more, there is no heaven to gain or hell to shun; that it is all a big capitalist myth.

When the early apostles were called before the rulers of their days, for "preaching Christ and the resurrection" (Acts 4:1-2 & 5:20, 28) and were forbidden by the authorities "to speak in the name of Jesus" (5:40), what did these early Christians do about this order from "the powers that be?" Did they obey these anti-God commands of human government? No. Peter made it clear; the only alternative under these circumstances for a Christian was, "We ought to obey God rather than men" (Acts 5:29). When anti-God authorities were bent on stamping out the Gospel in the city of Damascus and "kept a garrison, to apprehend Paul" what did he do? What any Christian with one ounce of sense would do; "... through a window in a basket, over the wall, he escaped" (II Cor. 11:32-33).

Anti-Christ communism has imposed itself onto one-third of earth's population. One of its basic doctrines is, "There is no God; there is only material or matter in motion; man is his own God." When a so-called government commands its subjects that, "pestilences, earthquakes, natural catastrophes are to be preferred to any notion of God" then that government is no longer to be considered humane. Such a declaration was made by Comrade V.I. Lenin, one of the founding fathers of international communism whose teachings and words are adhered to and believed by every dedicated, informed communist on earth.

No true Christian could ever follow such mad logic and philosophy. Rulers who tell their subjects that they should have cancer and earthquakes instead of God and Christ, are animals, not men. They should not be obeyed in this area. They shall be disobeyed, rejected and opposed by faithfully continuing in the work of the Lord. To do otherwise is to cooperate with the devil and his imps. True Christans do not submit to such; they rather prefer death.

History proves this one false. Across Mainland China, Russia, Mozambique, Angola and many other places where the saving Gospel has been faithfully preached and local churches established, God certainly did not "take care of the communists." The great China Inland Mission poured the Gospel into China, but now across that vast nation, only secret, small underground churches dare to exist. What happened to the "great truth" that "God will take care of the Reds?"

The West has more Gospel-preaching churches than at any time in her entire history yet she staggers underneath the load of crime, sins of every sort, socialistic-communistic lies, dirty work and subversion. Nowhere in the whole of the Bible has God ever promised in any shape, form or fashion to "clean up the devil's people" because we preach His Holy Gospel and Word. If this were true, America would be a literal "heaven on earth." The Gospel works only for those who repent of their sins, under the conviction of the Holy Spirit and by faith receive Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Saviour; then get into a good local church, grow in Grace and become mature, growing-up Christians. Such experiences in fact, instead of bringing about the destruction of our sworn enemies, seem only to further stir up the forces of Satan and darkness and bring down on our heads the very fury of hell itself! The only means whereby the Gospel of Christ will ever deter the communists in their evil works, is for them to repent of their sins, receive Christ and be saved, changed into new creatures by the miracle of God's saving grace.

The faithful and incredible witness of countless thousands of true Christians suffering in communist dominated lands, carried on despite all the devices of the "socialist-humanists" has not resulted in a lessening of pressure. It has brought about the persecutions and slaughter of countless believers in Christ. Christians of the West have but little time to snap out of their wistful delusions and obsessions with their own imaginary wisdom and Biblical knowledge, in dealing with many sided tactics of the bloody wolf of atheist Christ-hating communism. Such dazzling expressions from conservative leadership, "God will take care of the communist" are nothing short of lies making our cause more difficult and the enemies of our souls and freedoms more secure and confident to carry on their programs of death and destruction. Yes, preach that blessed Gospel. Preach it with all the might God gives, for it will save every sinner who repents and believes. But this will not move God to jump out of heaven and save us all from our hateful enemies.

Holy Scripture promises our Lord's return (John 14:3). Further it also tells us, "Of that day and hour (of his return) knoweth no man" (Mark 13:32). No sign of His return is given anywhere in the Bible in order that we might fix the date of His coming. No man on earth knows this one. Such foolish preaching has produced some of the world's most dangerous cults and sects and left thousands of souls floundering in bitter disappointment and despair.

It is disgusting to hear preachers and Bible teachers misusing prophecy to explain away the fact that ugly, violent revolution is now standing at our doors. It is a form of spiritual treason. Many conservative Christians seem to enjoy sitting in their comfortable offices, plush carpeted homes, and ivory-tower studies preparing great sermons, with many eschatological reasons why suffering or communism won't touch us. But these reverend gentlemen too often only give us half the story; the half that contains the many promises of deliverance and rapture. Scripture abounds with promises of God's deliverance for His own. The return of Christ will truly deliver all the saved from every sorrow and heartache of this life. But what are we to do until that time?

What did our Lord mean when He said, "Occupy till I come" (Luke 19:13)? Did He mean for us to sit back, sip tea and coffee, and expect God to hold back the forces of death and doom? Hardly. Can we expect our God to hold back the forces of communism now sweeping across the earth while we spend our time scanning the heavens, looking for Christ to come and do no more? Will God fight for us, while we loaf and watch for Him? It is strange and puzzling that millions of true Christians in the world's largest populated areas languish and suffer under the horrible fist of communism; beaten, tortured, mocked and despised, while so many American Christians feel that because they are so non-compromising they shall miss all suffering and especially the terrible communist revolution. Some even quote from Scripture to prove their heresy!

The author of this paper does not believe that Christians will go through the tribulation period. However he does believe the Bible clearly states that only, "those who suffer with Him, will reign with Him" (II Tim 2:12). Hence the Christians of the Roman arenas, of the religious inquisitions, of the bloody Stalinist purges, of the "Great Leaps Forward" of Mao's China and others will "reign with Him." Where will the conservative believers of the easy-living Western world fit? Very few have suffered for Christ. In Phil. 1:29 we are told that suffering is part of our privilege in believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. But where are Western Christians whose lives reveal this truth? In Acts 14:22, we are told that we "shall ener the Kingdom, through much tribulation." About the only suffering most Western Christians have is that "somebody talks about them."

To hide behind the fact of our Lord's return as proof that we should not fight communism is cowardly to say the least. Such fanciful exegesis would never in a million years convince the suffering millions in the U.S.S.R., China, North Korea, Cuba, Tibet, the Baltic States, etc. The blood-stained pages of our church history tell us the way to heaven is still paved with blood, sweat, tears and prayers. Yes, the gates of hell will never overcome the church, but remember those nameless millions communism has already butchered and slain, stealing their lands, houses, church buildings, wives and children, burning their Bibles in a demonic anger against God and His people. All who dared to oppose (and there were many) were shot, imprisoned, or shipped off to die forgotten in a slave labor camp.

Communism has every plan and intention to do even worse to the Western nations and its true Christians, unless we pray, preach, work and fight. As never before in our history we must aim our efforts for a God-sent revival and spiritual awakening across the land. Unless God in His mercy sends this, or Christ comes very soon, we are a doomed people. Regardless, if Christ comes next month or in fifty years' time, we are to stand, equipped with the whole armour of God, ready to do all within our strength (both spiritual and physical) to keep and maintain our faith and freedom. If the world burns tomorrow, we must plant a tree today.

This utterance of sheer fatalism has deceived many. Bible prophecy falls into two major classes. First, there is positive prophecy. Some of the things God has foretold will come to pass regardless. Nothing can prevent their fulfillment. They are without conditions of any sort. They will come to pass. They are positive prophecies.

Second, there is possible prophecy. Some things God has prophesied might come to pass, depending on the conditions attached thereto being met or not. The great national text of II Chron. 7:14 certainly falls under possible prophecy. It truly offers the sure possibility of hope for any falling people, if they will meet God's conditions laid down in the passage. If these four conditions are met God will "save that land." If not it is doomed. Nowhere in any Scripture are we told that we are trapped, doomed and beyond hope of mercy and deliverance. We are not the victims of fate who must lie down while wicked men destroy all that is good and godly about us. Such false teaching "turns the grace of God into lasciviousness." With all of our troubles there is yet enough "salt to preserve the meat" (Matt. 5:13) and enough "light to blast the ugly darkness" (Matt. 5:14-16).

Attached to this reason for not fighting communism is the expression, "We are too far gone; there is no hope; just preach and win lost souls to Christ." I have noticed that those who preach this nonsense continue to pay house rent, take a nice holiday, buy new cars, clothing, furniture, continue their education, deposit money in the bank, etc.This is hardly compatible with their verbal declarations, "We are too far gone; there is no hope..." None of those who say this rush about and make last minute arrangements to leave the country, since they are sure, "We are too far gone..." When people know things are too far gone, they leave the country by the thousands, fleeing like wild animals.

The West is loaded down with ills and sins of every sort. Our load seems more than we can carry. But in the face of it all, we are not too far gone. When a people turn from their sins, and cry to the God of heaven in repentance and sorrow for forgiveness and deliverance, God will hear and save that people. The Old Testament carries numerous examples of this fact (II Chron. 20 & 32). Our very secular history is not without this proof. God used John Wesley to save England from the horrible French Revolution. When the people of modern day Britain were called to a night of "fasting and prayer," God saved the Allies from sure destruction during the famous Battle of the Bulge in World War II. No, we are not too far gone. We hope in our God!

This cry coming from the bleeding hearts of the liberals and ignorant, uninformed left-wingers is intended to project the notion that all such are "great champions of freedom of speech, press, movement and assembly, etc." In reality all such statements come from dry mouths and empty heads. These champions of the Reds are masters at turning a blind eye and deaf ear to the open record of godless communism. The bloody stains Marxist-Leninists have left across the annals of history mean nothing to these do-gooders. The appalling testimonies of countless thousands of communist defectors, fleeing from the socialist paradise mean nothing. Those ghostly millions fleeing wherever communism comes to power are all writtten off as unfit workers within the joys of socialism. The Berlin Wall and frontiers of shame, locking millions by bayonet and bullet into the arms of communism have no message for these champions for devils and animals. These self-appointed protectors of communism are politically sick and victims of wistful hallucinations. They are enemies within our gates!

When the law-makers and politicians of any nation give freedom to evil men, and it is an established fact that they will use that freedom to destroy the freedom of every other person of that land, then it is high time to vote out or impeach such blinded, ill-informed politicians and replace them with men of character, courage and God-fearing common sense. It is a historical fact, that after a Red takeover, the people who worked for and on behalf of the communists, in time, get their throats cut by the very people they have defended. To give freedom to men who have a determined and unchanging plan for violent revolution and the overthrowing of legally constituted government is to lie down and beg for the knife to be pulled over the neck. Communism must be outlawed and banned. Those who refuse to obey and co-operate could be given exactly what China and Russia gives its own, who refuse to bow to militant atheism-materialism. This would make some very fast changes!

You cannot peacefully co-exist with a rattlesnake. In time he will bite you for sure. He cannot be knowingly allowed any measure of freedom. His continued presence means suffering and in time death. He must be fought against and stopped!

Neither did the Bible teach us about the past two World Wars. Neither did the Bible teach us of Korea, Vietnam or Cambodia, but we had them just the same. There is rather strong evidence that Soviet Russia may be mentioned in Ezek. 38-39. If this is so, then we do have a dependable forecast of Soviet communism's final end. Since this seems to be in the future, even after the church age it therefore offers little for us now.

Our first responsibility is Christ and Country. Some saints scan the world about them and see no possibility of a Red takeover and fail to look under their own noses first! Just look around. Here is where we must see first priority. Do the devils of the international conspiracy trouble our land? Why does Washington give our sworn enemies just about anything they ask for? Why do politicians and big businessmen send millions of tons of wheat to the starving communist nations of the world? How can they knowingly feed the mouths of those plotting their own destruction? How can national leaders talk about human rights but never about human rights in the lands of communist rule, where millions of humans have had every right taken away, and even the right to breathe? What kind of hidden hand directed the socialists and gangsters in Washington to sell the friendly nations of Vietnam and Cambodia down the river? Who taught thousands of American youth to burn the flag, spit at the call for military training, slander our founding fathers, hate the police, F.B.I., and every other necessary form of law and order?

Look under your nose and find out who wrote those "certain high school" textbooks being read by millions of American youth, teaching the leaders of tomorrow to hate Americanism, patriotism, the church and God, to despise the flag; and that socialism has brought peace in China and Russia; that we must not oppose communism but compete with it; that our system of free enterprise is a failure and we must consider its replacement.

The serious question is not, "will communism conquer the world?", but rather, "what is it presently doing now all around us?" Serious things are happening near you. Home is in trouble. Will the communists and their supporters slice off one nation after the other, and suddenly stop at America? Are they not interested in the destruction of this greatest of all capitalist empires? The notion that we must find a passage of Holy Scripture proving every large event in the course of our national history, is rather naive to say the least. God's Word has warned us, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6), and that those nations that "forget God, shall be turned into hell" (Psa. 9:17). Masses of believers now suffering in communist dominated lands found no verses in the Bible saying their nation would fall; but it fell just the same. Let every true Christian take heed of these words.

Among students and that great band of intellectual giants whose voices can be heard ringing in the halls of educational fame this opinion of communism is very often heard. Every reader of this paper who feels this is a valid reason would do well to spend several days in a large public library. There he could read for himself just what communist theory has accomplished in practice.

Communist theory states, "We hate Christians and Christianity... Christian love is an obstacle to the revolution. What we want is hate; only then can we conquer the universe" (by A. Lunarcharsky of the U.S.S.R.). Nice theory, isn't it? Try this one: "Our program abolishes eternal truths; it abolishes all religions" (from Communist Manifesto). "We make war against all ideas of religion, or the state, the country and patriotism. The idea of God... must be destroyedâ€¦ the true root of liberty is atheism" (Secrete Societies of Switzerland, by Marx). Your writer has seen this communist theory towards religion put into physical action in Africa. It is too horrible to mention.

Communist theory declares the only morals are those which assist the communist cause and program. Everything else is wrong and immoral! Communist theory states that in time they will conquer the nation and destroy every form of private ownership, abolish all religions (except those who willingly cooperate with it) and bring in the "dictatorship of the proletariat." Marx laid it down for the destruction of the home in these words from his Manifesto, "The clap-trap about the family, and education, about hallowed co-relations of parent and child, becomes.. disgusting." Do you agree with those communist theories regarding home, religion, country, private property, your children, etc.? Would you gladly and willingly swap places with a fellow Christian in China or North Korea? Since some readers feel communist theory is all right surely the exchange would be in harmony with your theoretical reasoning.

The big lie that the early Christians practiced socialism when they sold their goods and created a common fund (Acts 2:44-45) is answered in a free tract available to those who write and ask for it by name, "Does the Bible teach Communism?"

The ugly truth is that communism is a beautful lie in theory and ghastly nightmare in practice. How nice it is to sit under the freedom of a capitalist society and make long speeches about the benefits of socialistic-communism in backward China and how helpful it has been for the masses of Asia or the East. In point of fact, such reasoning and pastime gibberish has been well described as the jargon of lazy fools. Communist theory works so well that over eight hundred miles of walls, watch dogs, machine guns, guards, landmines, etc., must be used to keep the happy subjects of socialism at home in the "Red Paradise" of Eastern Europe. Simply the fruits of a "glorious theory in practice." Rather stupid, is it not?

The emphasis in this writing has been on communism, our great enemy, Satan's big tool. Let it be clearly understood that balanced stress must likewise be put on the need to engage in Holy War against all the enemies of God and His truths. If we do not know the "devil's devices, he will still take advantage of us" (II Cor. 2:11). If we don't wear daily the "whole armour of God," we cannot stand (Eph. 6:10-18).

Almost impossible to fight an idea. Staying true to our faith AND inculcating that faith in our children, ESPECIALLY by example seems to be a way to fight any non-Christian idea.

Communism sounds good to some, but their godlessness is anathema to MOST humans. All cultures, primitive, ancient, modern, whatever, always worshiped what/whom they thought was their superior, creator or whatever. It seems to be a part of our humanity.

Christians should remember the concept of free will.

Even if you actually believe that communism is some form of charity, keep in mind that it is forced on the participants. Then cannot choose to stay out of it if that’s how their government operates.

The Judeo-Christian answer is: No. I am not my brother’s keeper. I am my brother’s brother.

Increasingly, those who use the label Christian claim that the rest of us should adopt the theology of Cain and reject the Judeo-Christian theology of God.

Communism is the theology of Cain. The beauty of the theology of Cain is that different self-appointed busy-bodies can have different agendas for their brother.
