Urgent prayers: I posted earlier in the week that a friend of mines newborn infant was admitted to the hospital. I just received word that she is being taken in for a bone marrow transplant. She will be 3 weeks old tomorrow. Her name is Sawyer Jane, Her parents are Brent and Wendi. Please pray for the family and the doctors.

Lord God, We ask you to watch over this young life. We pray, Father that you will superintend in every area here. We honor you, LORD because You are the Creator. Only you know every tissue, every cell, every organ of little Sawyer’s body and only You are the Healer. We pray that you will give perfect peace to her parents - that they will trust you throughout this ordeal. We pray that you will give wisdom to the doctors and guide their decisions. All of our hope in in you, LORD. We ask you for healing. We ask you for mercy. We pray that in this trial that your name will be glorified and that all will know that you are the one True God! I pray this in my Savior’s precious Name, Jesus Christ. AMEN!
O LORD JESUS CHRIST, who came into this world as a little child, and who, though Very God, was subject to Your earthly parents: Grant that this Your child, Sawyer Jane, may bear what has been given her. Look mercifully, we ask You, upon her, and in Your great love grant her relief from her pain. Yea, O Lord, Son of God, grant to send Your holy Angel from heaven, to guard, cherish, protect, visit and defend this Your child, Sawyer Jane, sick in her tender age. Prayers up for the healing powers of Jesus and the Holy Spirit to be present and powerful!
2 - Her echocardiogram showed that her heart was in great shape. She has a heart murmur, but it's considered a "normal" one for babies.
3 - She received a blood transfusion today. We're hoping this helps her feel better and get some of her strength back. We want to thank everyone for offering to donate or donating in her name.
4 - Tomorrow, as of this second, Sawyer will be going in for an endoscopy, a colonoscopy, and a bone marrow biopsy. The endoscopy and colonoscopy will be checking for ulcers, gi issues, internal bleeds, etc. The bone marrow biopsy is to rule out leukemia, which they do not think it is. Since she will already be sedated, they want to do as much as possible and this will be a good time for the biopsy.
Whew, lots of information. The staff is great and they are trouble shooting continuously. We love having all of the different medical fields working on Sawyer's case. Keep up the positive vibes, baby Sawyer is fighting hard!
