The pope showed obeisance and submitted to a rude woman
He should have inclined his head slightly and moved on
He has no standing to cover the cross and bow to a nonChristian on behalf of any church I want him to represent!
What a wanker
Does he have a mommy complex?
Btw he is not a humble man - to cover the cross was an act of personal arrogance

This is not the first time he has hidden his crucifix in front of Jews.

Rivkah was stating her faith. The Pope was stating the depth of his, so called.

Why did this broad even show up for an audience with the Pope? What world are we living in now where some idiot shows up at a state event to meet a world leader just to say she can’t shake his hand or give a customary greeting? Why not just skip the meeting entirely?

Her religion prevents her from shaking his hand. I didn't know the Cross was like garlic to a vampire when it comes to religious Jews but there you go. In no way should he have covered the Cross. Is there any protocol among people any more? Shouldn't all this be worked out in advance so that people don't embarrass or humiliate each other?
