If anyone believes the wine drank in scripture was not alcoholic they’re wrong. God frowns on someone getting drunk, but believe you me the wine AND beer were alcoholic.

If this were true, Catholics should wear it as a badge of honor to be the only segment of Christianity to receive the Scriptural burden as expressed in 2 Timothy 3:12.

You are inferring above that it’s wrong for people to drink alcoholic beverages. I showed you the many references in scripture and you’re now trying to backtrack. It don’t work that way. You’re wrong.

What you were addressing was getting *drunker than h*ll*, not merely drinking.
THAT is what I was responding to, and yes, the Catholics I watched at all those parties had exactly that attitude about being that drunk, especially when the priest was right there with them.
