No, the 16th Sunday in the liturgical year is today. The count of Ordinary Time - that is, the weeks counted with ordinal numbers - breaks off for the seasons of Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter and then resumes. There is no congruence with the Sundays of the calendar year.

Thanks, I think.

It sounds like some folks have 2-3 “years” fully within the 12 month liturgical calendar that ain’t got nothing to do with a “year”.

I guess they want to confuse the astrologers and other Maji, huh?
