A close reading ot he Magnificat would show many indications of God "raising up" Mary: "He who is mighty has done great things for me."

reading INTO perhaps.

A few verses BEFORE this one, Elizabeth says...

" 45 And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.”

Notice what she did NOT say:

"... blessed is she who AGREED to of what was spoken to her from the Lord.”
