Feeling down about the Catholic Church and the homosexual marriage ruling? Give a listen to this Maryland priest's sermon. He goes after homosexuals in the priesthood, Martin Omally, and unfaithful Catholics. He speaks about the truth of marriage being one man andone woman. Pray for him as he said what needed to be said and may pay the price for it.
The gain saying of every Catholic who has refused to even look it up.
I have a lot of love - but we are in the Last Days. I will hit the gong, and proudly. People need to wake up.
Are you going to follow Catholicism and Francis into the gates of Hell itself?
Or, are you going to abandon that which is evil, and turn to Jesus Christ?
Who do you think will reward you in heaven? Or, even worse, who has the authority to send your soul into Hell? Do you even care?
I will tell you this with all fortitude: we are in the End Times, and the Catholic church is assiting evil. If you want to be on that side, I can't stop you. But I have warned you.
But you are? Who are you to say such things?
I never claimed to be the Holy Spirit - but by your comment you claimed the same!
Take your own advice. And read your Bible. Today.
Hmm, maybe this would be a good parish to start attending!
Thanks for the ping.
Someone is in agreement with the Holy Spirit and someone isn’t, between the two of you.
I’ll leave it as an exercise for anyone interested to determine which, remembering that: He doesn’t teach error (or confusion) and He does want us to know the Truth, and not just some of it either, but all of it.
After Pentecost, the Apostles taught the faith. This everyone knows from Scripture.
This was the will of God then, to use men to spread and teach the Faith, and He hasn’t changed today. If He has changed His teaching method, then it can never be said we have the same faith as the Apostles, because we can’t have the same experience as the first disciples if God has changed how He teaches.
I have a lot of love - but ....

That seems to say it all.
Very good....and Jesus also gave them the power to forgive sins.
;-)
LOL!!!!
Again, your words:
The "church" is dead. It is headed by a man who is in the direct grip of Satan. If you cannot see that, you don't have the Holy Spirit.
You're the one condemning as "not having the Holy Spirit" those who disagree with you.
So I ask YOU, since you started this: WHO are YOU to say such things???? WHO are YOU to impose your opinions of other Christian congregations on everybody else????
I hope you realize that your comment in #28 was and is a huge over-reach, and blasphemous in nature.
Repent.
Seriously.
It's a logical possibility that we're both wrong ... a possibility far too many self-proclaimed Christians don't acknowledge.
YOU'LL leave it ????
Mighty big of you.
Here ... I'll help you out.
I'm the one who's right.
See? It's easy. Just claim to be right ... and anybody who disagrees is obviously an apostate heretic doomed to hellfire.
Right? It's a great way to shut down debate or discussion, and prance around like a pigeon on a chessboard claiming victory ...
Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
That preacher is NOT part of the magisterium. The magisterium of the Catholic Church has NOT as a group denounced the ruling. It's the magisterium of the Catholic Church to which Catholics must submit "will and intellect".
It most certainly is. The Catholic Church has declared that you must submit "will and intellect" to the magisterium of the Catholic Church NOT to Christ.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to listen. This priest and those who hold true will need your prayers
The belief of every Catholic without regard to what non-Catholics propagate.
(Thanks for the ping NYer.)
- Sacred Tradition
- The Magisterium, or TEACHING AUTHORITY of the Church, guided by the Holy Spirit.
NOWHERE DOES IT SAY THAT WE MUST NOT OBEY JESUS!
Show me where the Catholic Church teaches to submit to Jesus alone.
Why not post Dr. Ravi separately, and have a discussion on his teachings? There are plenty of people who despise Catholicism who would love to listen. Sounds like he may have a following there...
You're right. This was a phenomenal sermon, and an inspiration. Let's take it all in, and learn from it. It's better for us to stay focused on the topic at hand: Bishop Strickland, and others like him, are going to need our prayers; we need to pray for one another, as well. It doesn't take much to see tough times ahead for people of faith on all levels. Thanks!
