Someone is in agreement with the Holy Spirit and someone isn’t, between the two of you.
I’ll leave it as an exercise for anyone interested to determine which, remembering that: He doesn’t teach error (or confusion) and He does want us to know the Truth, and not just some of it either, but all of it.
After Pentecost, the Apostles taught the faith. This everyone knows from Scripture.
This was the will of God then, to use men to spread and teach the Faith, and He hasn’t changed today. If He has changed His teaching method, then it can never be said we have the same faith as the Apostles, because we can’t have the same experience as the first disciples if God has changed how He teaches.
Very good....and Jesus also gave them the power to forgive sins.
;-)
It's a logical possibility that we're both wrong ... a possibility far too many self-proclaimed Christians don't acknowledge.
YOU'LL leave it ????
Mighty big of you.
Here ... I'll help you out.
I'm the one who's right.
See? It's easy. Just claim to be right ... and anybody who disagrees is obviously an apostate heretic doomed to hellfire.
Right? It's a great way to shut down debate or discussion, and prance around like a pigeon on a chessboard claiming victory ...
