too late for prayer I think
time to stock up and fortify
You may be right......but is it ever too late to pray when you consider the power and authority of God?
It’s NEVER too late for prayer.
Something I think some here are forgetting: This did NOT come as a surprise to God. He didn’t say “Oh, dear...I didn’t see this coming!”.
Something was pointed out to me this morning: In the end times, NOWHERE in the Bible does it mention any country that even closely resembles the US. I really and truly believe that America IS going to fall and will NOT be a player in the end times.
This may indeed be a waypoint to the end and the return of the Lord Jesus. If so, I say “Come, Lord Jesus!”
Think about it...either we die (naturally or by persecution) and go to Heaven, or we are raptured and go to Heaven. In either case, where are we? Heaven! With Jesus! Where is the losing side in this scenario? There isn’t one!
Sure...it’s gonna suck while we’re here, but remember that this isn’t all there is. The best we can do as believers is pray, love God, love people, and life the life God has called us to live.
Meant to ping you over here:

It’s an appropriate day for the tag line I’ve been using for a while, anyway.
“too late for prayer I think
time to stock up and fortify”
Yup.
time to stock up and fortify
And as Jesus said at a certain “season” of his ministry,
— And He said to them, “When I sent you out without money belt and bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?” They said, “No, nothing.” And He said to them, “But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one. “For I tell you that this which is written must be fulfilled in Me, ‘AND HE WAS NUMBERED WITH TRANSGRESSORS’; for that which refers to Me has its fulfillment.”
+1. God helps those that help themselves.
We really don’t know what kind of situation is being set up here.
If we dug in at a worldly, earthly, fleshly level and did nothing with gospel promise, we would also displease the Lord.
Never ever to late for prayer.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
I believe the last verse is especially pertinent right now.
time to stock up and fortify
Always a good time for this
It’s NEVER too late for prayer. It’s also never too early.
It’s also time to hoist the Bonnie Blue.
Be aware. Be prepared. Do not hesitate.
God doesn’t care about nations. They are mere man-made constructs to Him.
