Held: The Fourteenth Amendment requires a State to license a marriage between two people of the same sex and to recognize a marriage between two people of the same sex when their marriage was lawfully licensed and performed out-of-State. Pp. 3–28.

There is no provision for any state which has its own laws limiting marriage to two sexes. Thus, this is now the “law of the land” in all 50 states.
Who wins? Not society. Perhaps divorce lawyers.
It may be that this was as inevitable as the night which follows the day. I had hoped not, but with only a little hope.

That's because all those self anointed prophets/profits are blind and deaf. America is the nation gathered out of the nations, separated literally by two oceans and spiritually by the inate character of her design. That is, in these days, the representative of the HOUSE of JOSEPH, i.e. House of Israel i.e. Ephraim. A double ash heap of double blessing fruitfulness:

I have heard people all my life say in a joking way that gay folks are fine with them as long as they don't make it mandatory. I think today, they just made it mandatory.

We really don’t know what kind of situation is being set up here.
If we dug in at a worldly, earthly, fleshly level and did nothing with gospel promise, we would also displease the Lord.
These are times that try men’s souls... including showing those who take a heavenly view and those who concur with what hell wants.
God takes no pleasure in those who shrink back. The Cross was not visible to the people of that time and place.
No. He’s too busy being green.
Christian conservatives put a lot of stock in the nation-state called the United States of America.
That’s good.
At the same time see that people have taken VERY
good things and thrown them away for no good reason.
The people-group of ancient Israel had everything they
needed: the tabernacle, the sacrifices, the preisthood...
everything that God gave them to point them to Christ.
And they threw it away time after time.
Is it any wonder, then, that Americans have thrown away
their country? The USA was amazing, awesome... but it
was never intended to be the ultimate prize.
