Perhaps terycarl does not know that the bread served at Passover and for seven days in unleavened bread, to commemorate/Remember the hasty departure from Egypt, so quickly that they didn't even have time to let the yeast rise in the dough!

Doesn’t matter. I am trying to save the ignorant. That is my job.

Um, Jesus establish His Church. That doesn’t say Catholic Church. Would you lay the Inquisition and all the other abominations under catholic rule at Jesus’s feet? Do you get saved over and over, or have you mastered the yoyo and only get resaved occasionally?

It became known as the Catholic church within the first century...The inquisition was mankind's way of facing a threat which they could not comprehend....their religion, the ONLY Christian religion on Earth, which they knew to be the Holy church of Christ was under attack from a recently formed group of dissidents....they had seldom faced such opposition and thus acted accordingly....with complete and cruel and harsh retaliation.

These were not mild mannered protestors, they destroyed churches, libraries, monasteries, and were above and beyond any other evils that they had witnessed....they didn't know any other way to defend the church.

The Shepards who came to Bethlehem when Jesus was in the manger, after an Angel told them to seek him there, were actually more than common shepards. They were in a tower which gave them an excellent view of the baby lambs being born, so they could fetch the ones without spot or blemish, wrap a few strips of cloth around them so they were preserved for the sacrifice of Passover and Atonement. When the Angel told them they would find the child lying in a manger wrapped in swaddling cloth, the shepards knew this was a special child because they would place the special wrapped lambs 'up' in a manger to prevent them becoming blemished!

Since Mary and Joseph were the only people present at the nativity, just who narrated this story and to whom was it narrated???

A tower so they could watch lambs being born........uh, I guess it's possible....probable????no, but possible I guess.

In the first Century, IIRC, the identifying phrase ‘Catholic church’ was actually catholic and Apostolic church’ and referred to all churches who believed that Jesus had come in the flesh, been crucified, died, and was buried. And the Third day God raised Him from the dead. The word ‘catholic’ did not refer to an institutional church until the 300s, established as such under Constantine’s leadership for making it a state religion. State approved and state directed.

well, actually, the History of Judaism around Jerusalem (and Bethlehem is about ten or so miles from Jerusalem) had a priestly appointed gaggle of shepards who actually did watch the lambing process in the fields from a two story or more tower, to pick out the ones without spot or blemish for the sacrifices. I placed an order for five copies just today, so I’ll send one to you if you like. They’re just under $13.00 each. I’ll give you one, if you’ll read it. we old men should do more reading.

He wasn't kidding but He was speaking metaphorically. The wine and bread represented His blood and body.

No He wasn't..."THIS IS MY BODY" is not the same as this bread represents My body....transubstantiation is one of the most important, and easily understood truths of Catholicism that Protestants cannot seem to come to grips with......very sad, you are missing out on so very much.

“Since Mary and Joseph were the only people present at the nativity, just who narrated this story and to whom was it narrated???” The story of Jesus’s birth is in the Gospels. The Holy Spirit, Who was around then, told the story to the authors of the Gospels, especially the one doctor Luke wrote.

God does not appreciate ignorance.

Then God does not appreciate your efforts, napscoordinator. You repeatedly use Gods name in vain, set yourself up so as to call others "heathen" and clearly was not the debate team captain in high school. You have failure for a legacy. Let the blind lead the blind. Get thee behind me.

If you actually could magically get Christ’s blood in that cup, it would be far to Precious to go across your lips. That Blood was the only blood in Human History efficacious enough to cover the law of sin and death for you and me. To drink blood was an abomination before the Lord, and would have been downright evil since Jesus also drank from the cup.

The wedding process in the Jewish faith has the father of the bride and the father of the groom make a deal for the price of the bride. This deal is sealed, traditionally, with a sip of wine from the same cup by both parents. When Jesus told His disciples that He would not drink the fruit of the vine again until He drinks it in His Kingdom, He was referring their minds to the wedding process, where He will have a wedding feast at the start of the Millennial Kingdom AFTER he has destroyed the enemies of God and Israel and His Bride.

All of you, discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.

Look if i cared what folks thought, I’d never be as successful or have as great a family I have. I have NEVER needed to be peer pressured as most see me as a leader so I definitely won’t be peer pressured by a bunch of unanimous internet users. And yes you can take that to the bank.

In tearing the veil, the barrier between man and God was removed.

End of story.

Correct, and I believe it was very significant, that the veil was torn from top to bottom, not from bottom to top, to show it was God's doing, not some man made religion. Because, like that Gospel song says: Where the only thing there that's been made by man, are the scars in the hands of Jesus.

No. The Catholic Church didn’t even exist till 1054 AD, when it schismed from the rest of Christianity (the Orthodox Church, hereinafter named).

True, but it seems in the third century or so the self named Catholics started rewriting history and plugged in some historical figures as "popes" so there would appear to be a succession.

For all the complaints from Catholics (CatholicISM) about Protestants (ProtestantISM) in fact the Catholics were the first Protestants.

Protesting against basic Christianity in 1054 so they could use men's proclamations to create a denomination with a circle drawn around it to keep Bible Christians out.

In fact they created their own religion outside of Biblical Christianity and call it The One True Church.

Jesus saw/sees it differently.
