“We must pray that God will forgive us and send us again an authentic pope, such as Pope Pius X, and then revere that pope and look to hear Christ through him as we did popes in the past.”

Or just scratch all that and call on the name of the Lord YOURSELVES, by faith. Like Israel of old, do we want a king to rule over us? God was not pleased. He provided his SON so we could have a relationship with HIM. Yes, we ought ask forgiveness for EVER wanting a mediator between ourselves and God other than Jesus, There is no other, and anyone pretending to be one will pay the penalty!

There is not one Apostle who exalted themselves over the world. Even Peter agreed to go to the Jews and Paul to the Gentiles (probably most on this forum). Even there the supposed first pope shames the rest through humility.

“It will require that we deserve such a pope, so we must REPENT AND BELIEVE the Good News and sin no more.”

That puts one the province of luck, not faith. Deserve? HELL is what we DESERVE. No, no no. We want a free gift.

“Sin no more”? No one has pulled that one off, including the woman caught in adultery. If we could Jesus died in VAIN. Read the letters of Paul, they’re awesome gifts from God where the damnable works religion that poisons the free gift of God in Christ is given its fitting epitaph!

“Better for him to tackle all the other major threats such as the persecution of Christians all over the world, including in the US.”

That was my thought as well,

Instead this Pope would rather take up the mantle of the Earth worshipers and be invited to the UN/White House to sit under the smiling approval of that same demonic spirit empowering Obama,

Dark times are coming, persecution is increasing around the world where believers of sound biblical teachings and those refusing to deny Christ are being thrown out of their homes and summarily killed across the middle east, that evil is direct and immediate there, while here its growing from economic tyranny, but that too will change over to be direct,

Those still asleep in the west are going to be startled awake and have to make a hurried choice in midst of the storm,

“It will call for an end to the ‘tyrannical’ exploitation of nature by mankind”

Genesis 1:26
“Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.””

“....Over all the earth”

I was taught that God called us to exploit what he gave us. Not to destroy it, but to use everything and not waste it.

Seems to me that statement is saying to not exploit the earth, and if you don’t exploit it, it remains unused....wasted. If people are starving for lack of food and you have land available to grow food, that’s not Christian.

The Garden of Eden is the expression of the ideal for which we were created. But the problem is this cannot happen, since there is the fatal flaw in human kind: The desire to take over the role of the Creator.

Look at Bruce Jenner and the flake who decided she was black even though she was born to entirely white parents. People wishing to define themselves in contradiction to their created nature.. And under Pope Francis, for the first time ever the Church is going along with this Satanic act of pride.

Where were all your ideas prior to Martin Luther?

You need to study history and ancient Catholic writings from the 100’s, 300’s, 500’s, 1100’s, 1300’s, for example. Study lives of holy saints and see if any of them held your position of slandering, misrepresenting, and disparaging Catholic thought.

(All Christians were Catholic prior to Marty.)

Stop your empty baseless accusations until you have studied history and read carefully and thoroughly the Holy Scriptures. Then come back and comment. Your views will be far different and better informed.

“Where were all your ideas prior to Martin Luther?”

That’s your bailiwick, not mine. I am interested in what the apostles wrote by inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It was while reading Romans that Luther “woke up”. So my thought is: “Go read ROMANS!!!”

Having read Romans and all of Paul’s other letters, I can confidently say that many of Catholicism’s inventions ARE NOT FOUND THERE. In fact, they are revealed to be deceptions.

An interesting forerunner of Luther in a sense: The woman at the well. She ran back to the town and spontaneously evangelized it. Before long the town folk were setting her aside as they THEMSELVES believed.

God is no respecter of persons. He rebuked your Church through one of your own. Like water off a duck’s back! Nevermind, we now no longer just believe because of what Luther said, but.......
