Dear fellow FReepers,
Please keep my mother and family in your prayers. She is only days or perhaps weeks away from you know what, after being diagnosed with cancer back in November. I know I have been a jerk to some of you the past few weeks please put that aside, forgive me and pray for either a miraculous healing, or that she not suffer any more soon.
She is the one who introduced me to FR actually, and actually lurked since its inception. I doubt she will be able to see this thread, but I'd like to think it would be a great dedication to her. She loves FR and dislikes Obama very strongly(as much as any Christian woman can).
Please pray that God's will be done and His Glory be seen by all in this event.
Veni Sancte Spiritus.
May you find comfort and peace through this difficult time. Prayers for your mom, your family and you.
I’ll pray for you. I went through the same turmoil before my mom passed. With God’s hand and the support of others, you will get by.
Prayers sent. May God wrap his arms around you and yours in this time of need.
Lord God, Thy will be done. Please bless this family of Thy servants in this life and the next.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
May the Lord be with your mother, your family and you, now and always.
Adding prayer for your mom
We all act like jerks from time to time. No one with an ounce of common sense would hold that against you when you are in danger of losing your mom. They will pray for you and your loved ones. Those who have already responded to you on this thread and vow to pray for your mom include a lot of folks who may have at one time or another felt offended by me.
On Thanksgiving of 2014, I fell at home and lost consciousness going into coma either there or in the ambulance. That night and for seventeen days and nights thereafter, I was expected to die. I had sudden massive kidney failure and a usually fatal level of potassium in my system.
So very many people here prayed me back to an acceptable level of health. Many of them have pledged prayers to you and your mom. I awoke from the coma about three days before Christmas. I got out of the nursing home/hospital merry-go-round in early April. I have three four hour dialysis sessions per week.
I am a Catholic as are some who have responded here, but the love and prayers offered by so many here including many reformed Christians is what pulled me through with the assistance of our Heavenly Father, our Savior Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit (the Paraclete).
I will pray that our Father in Heaven touch your mom with His healing hands and restore her health. If that is not possible or is not His plan, I pray that He grant her a speedy, happy and holy death and welcome her into His Kingdom.
You have loved your mom throughout your life. So has God!
May God bless you and yours in every way that He knows you need.
I just lost my Mom 3 weeks ago
make sure you tell her you love her, and if you can, be there when she passes
sing hymns to her and read the Psalms to her, start with Psalm 30
Prayers up.
May the Lord walk with Martina during these last days. And me he give you and your family strength and courage, in Jesus’ name I pray.
May the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
My prayers for your mother and family.
May God’s will be done.
Your prayers are my prayers. May your mother, you, and your family be at peace with God’s will, whatever it may be.
We ask for temporal healing, and all consolations for FourtySeven and family. Thy Will be Done. Amen
O Lord our God, Who by word alone did heal all diseases, Who did cure the kinswoman of Peter, You Who chastise with pity and heal according to Your goodness; Who are able to put aside every malady and infirmity, do You Yourself, the same Lord, grant aid to this Your servant Martha and cure herof every sickness of which she is grieved; lift her up from her bed of pain, and send down upon her Your great mercy, and if it be Your Will, give to her health and a complete recovery; for You are the Physician of our souls and bodies, and to You do we send up Glory: to Father, and to Son, and to Holy Spirit, both now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.
Prayers for her and for your family.
God Bless, Prays Sent for Her and your family!
Thank you all for the prayers. We are at her bedside now keeping her company.
Thank you
Prayers up for you both.
Prayers sent.
