Franklin Graham is calling on Christians to boycott businesses that fund and promote the gay activist agenda.
Graham made the comment on Facebook, announcing that his ministry is pulling its accounts from Wells Fargo Bank because they're using a same-sex couple in their ads.
"This is one way we as Christians can speak out," Graham said. "We have the power of choice. Let's just stop doing business with those who promote sin and stand against almighty God's laws and His standards."
Gay activist bloggers are mocking Graham, saying it will be nearly impossible to do what he says because so many businesses now support the gay agenda.
In an earlier Facebook post, Graham called on Christians to pray for Supreme Court justices as they prepare to rule on gay marriage.
Graham said declaring same-sex marriage a constitutional right would be a "wicked, wicked thing," adding, "The only hope we have is prayer."
"Imagine tens and tens and tens of thousands of Americans praying for God to hear their prayers and to change the hearts of these justices," Graham continued. "He might just do that."
If we really did this, we literally would have to stay home. There very few places that aren’t pro-gay.
Agree. And we need to start with Apple, Microsoft, Mozilla, etc.
I went to an ATM to make a deposit in my Chase Account.
Emblazoned across the touch screen was a graphic that said:
BE YOURSELF!
CELEBRATE LBGT MONTH
I was so upset that I made a mental note to call Chase today and protest.
God Bless Rev. Graham.
I don’t know how i can find a bank that DOESN’T support LBGT Month, but why do they have to be so blatant about it?
I currently boycott Target and Amazon.
Haven't renewed since.
Haven't bought Hormel products or Heinz products since they pushed for a gay ambassador to the Vatican a few years ago.
A confusing headline for sure as when I read it, I was astounded to think that Lindsey Graham would have made such a statement. Thank you Franklin Graham.
My family and I are in Dr. Graham.
Threaten to sue for discrimination, nothing scares a large corporation like poor publicity due to a little people law suit.
The pro-sodomy activists are right that so many businesses are pro-sodomy it would be difficult to boycott them all.
Follow the Alinsky rules.
Pick one pro-sodomy business and boycott it. Make it hurt their bottom line. The others will follow suit.
I don’t want to do it.
There is a business that opened up near my home, a sandwich shop.
It opened in a building that is basically a doomed property for every business that opens in it. They last about six months then gone, next!
So then this one opened, and it is run by two gay guys. They are obviously gay, they do all the work there from food prep to waiting to management.
They make the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. They are just awesome. When they are open, which is just for lunch, they are slammed. it’s the only business I have seen last at this location, and I want to see it succeed. I love their product, and their business is a benefit to the community.
These guys are really nice, and I like them. They have never been anything but friendly to me, and I have no reason to be otherwise to them.
I don’t approve of their lifestyle, and I have no idea what their politics are, but I’m sure that if I guessed, I’d be close to the mark. but I also don’t want to see them in hard times because I and whoever else decided we are going to do business because of their sexuality.
Who they are and what they do is their business, and it’s between them and God, and not me.
No, thank you, Mr. Graham, that isn’t something that I am going to do.
I wonder how you will explain yourself to God when the time comes...do you really think that supporting sin is acceptable to God? Do you believe that you are above God in your thinking and “morality”?
I don’t think the idea is to boycott homosexual people. The idea is to boycott companies promoting the homosexual agenda.
Hate the sin. Love the sinner. As long as the sandwich guys aren’t asking you to endorse gay marriage, go ahead and eat the sandwiches. As a person-to-person business, you may have more impact as a Christian, right in front of them, than you would if you boycott a big corporation. Someday they may need to talk to someone who has the Good News about Christ. They’ll think of you.
All four big defense contractors meet the “out and equal” index check list with a perfect score, because federal contracting rules say that if your missiles and planes are almost as good, diversity goals can be the deciding criteria for who gets the contract.
The government giving preference to businesses because they have health benefits for same sex partners, networking groups for LBGTA, preferences for hiring the sexual minorities along with people of color, etc. is part of the reason so many businesses are officially pro-diversity.
I can’t remember if it’s:”What’s Good For The Goose Is Sauce For The Gander”(or ,the other way round)???GOD Bless you Reverend Graham!!!!!!!!!!!!
Their business isn’t a sin, and furthermore it is not my duty to punish sin in this world.
If you think that all the customers of this business are sinners by extension for buying their product and will have an ordeal explaining themselves to God, then frankly, I think something may be wrong with you.
These men have not sinned against me, they have made me delicious sandwiches is what they have done.
I will explain myself to God just fine, don’t you worry.
That does seem more reasonable, I definitely do not support the gay agenda, and I do not appreciate large companies doing the same.
those were my thoughts.....practically every major corporation is now pro-homosexual.
