When I listened to Medved ages ago, I had my own issues with him (although I did attend two of his book signings and was at one time a fan). However, I do recall him being a huge supporter of Evangelical Christians (even though he's a practicing Orthodox Jew).
Medved has always tried to pretend that he is allied with conservatives, but he actually dislikes them and spend much of his show attacking them, the core of true conservatives are the Evangelical Christians.
If you listen to Medved, you will notice that he attacks conservatives, and then in the next hour will discuss some social conservative subject to help gloss over his attacks on us.
