What a surprise, they just called me in and said they had eliminated my position, after almost ten years too.
Heavy Sigh...
Prayers up!
Prayers up. Stay positive, the universe will pick up on it and reward you with something.
What do you do?
Prayers up. Don’t be too discouaged. I got wacked from a defense contractor after 33 good years, then laid off 3 more times in the following year. Then one of the companies that laid me off after that year picked me up. That was 2 years ago and I almoat make the same salary, but the drive is much shorter. PTL!
Prayers up for you and your family. may God bless you with the strength you will need to get through this trying time.
Let us pray that behind all this is a plan for an even better opportunity for you.
Listen to all your options, get copies of all paperwork, signed up for any state benefits.
And get back in the fight asap.
Every day your job is to find your new job.
Very sorry to hear this - we’ve been there.
Ven. Father McGivney, our FRiend infool7 needs a job, please. Thanking you very much in advance.
Prays up. This is hard. I have two 30 something kids with similar problems. God bless.
He will take care of you. I will be praying for you and your family. Try to keep your mind as open as possible for whatever door may open to you.
All we can offer are hopes and prayers for something better and that you have the strength and wisdom to go find it.
I have been in the same place myself. I know exactly how it is.
Prayers up.
I am sorry.
Spell check much? Sheesh! No wonder i got wacked!
(Posting with small phone)
Keep moving forward.
That is the key.
Prayers offerred up for you and your family.
Might help if you shared what you did, a summary of your skills, what you’d like to do, and where you live.
Collect funemployment insurance until you can get a new job.
Hold out for a good job.
You will be OK.
Our company was just aquired by a bigger company. We have a small office in Austin. They told us they would keep us and our location. 2 months later, they told everyone except me an another guy that they are laying off, and shipping the product development to Israel. The Israeli team is nowhere near ready to take on more products. Panic is ensuing. The CEO of the new company is not an innovator, but a consolidator. I have no illusions that they will keep their word by keeping me on as well.
I hope you find a better paying job, or one that you love more, or one that gives you more time at home...or all of these!
Still, I know it must be a nervous time around the dinner table.
As is often said; when God closes one door he opens another.
Prayers that that door is opened soon.
