One point to consider, I think it’s worth considering at any rate: With all due respect to Jewish people, do we Christians want the Jews deciding what should be in our Bible or should Christians decide what’s in the Christian Bible?
Again, just something to consider IMO.
G’nite all!
The first Christians were Jews. The authors of the NT were Jews. Jesus was a Jew. Gods chosen people is Israel (Jews again). Gods focus on earth appears centered on Jerusalem. So who do you propose to lead us in Bible origins?
Hey, your religion perverted their scritpure too (the O.T.)...All the apostles were Jews...And I am very happy with Jewish disciples from Israel writing my bible...
But yes, your bibles were written by Gentiles...Down in Africa...I'll stick with my Jewish authors...
It's Christians recognizing what the Jews already recognized as SCRIPTURE. Jesus verified it.
The Law, the Prophets and the Psalms.
Luke 24:44 Then he said to them, These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.
Romans 3:1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? 2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.
Why would you disagree with what the Holy Spirit inspired Paul to write?
