**&A six-year row between activist American nuns and Vatican officials who had branded them radical feminists ended on Thursday with the nuns conceding to demands that they keep within the doctrine of the Roman Catholic church.**
Praying this is true.
But I tend to agree with Carl Olson here”
**One final thought: Are matters with the LCWR really resolvedwith a whimper? Maybe. Frankly, I doubt it. I have a hard time believing that a group whose leadership has thumbed its nose at the CDF and bishops and has so often ignored (or even denied) Church teaching is going to so suddenly change its spots.**
Wait and watch, I guess.
Carl Olsen always had good insight. I also like what Ann Barnhardt said about the 80% of the nuns in the LCRW: “And the lesbian pagan witch nuns? Those sick broads are so far gone, they arent even in the same galactic cluster. The vast majority of them self-excommunicated themselves decades and decades ago. I just wish that Rome would make it official.”
I can’t remember which thread it was but when I read the article I got the impression that it was over because things were reviewed and changed. Certainly that would be a good thing.
