Why was “her purification” important ???
Because a woman could not go out in public if she had a “sow of blood” and also a man was not to “come at” his wife until the bleeding was over whether it was her period or after the birth of a child...
the Bible goes on to say an angel warned Joseph to flee to Egypt and “he took the child and His mother and went” meaning the MARRIED COUPLE were living together in the same house..
Why would anyone make evil what God has ordained..
He was the one who designed sex and brought Eve to Adam and told them to have sex...
If God did not intend for Mary to ever have sex why did He bother to give her a husband ???

to head her household, to provide for them, (no democrat ebt cards then), for protection, for respect from others....Joseph was, as far as I know , MUCH older than Mary...perhaps he was beyond the age....perhaps, because she was probably 14-15, he was uncomfortable with the age difference....perhaps it is none of our business...
