Chapter and verse?
So I suppose that baptism is useless then.
And so is the confessional and penance.
And last rites likewise.
Additionally, the eucharist has nothing to do with the resurrection because the CCC states that it's a participation in the death of Christ. Y'all don't even get to the resurrection when you are still celebrating and participating in His dying.
Yes, all is useless without belief in the Eucharist.
“Then Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say unto you: Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you shall not have life in you.” John 6:53
This is a belief held even before the Bible was assembled by the Catholic Church in AD 382, and it is the same John in 21: 25 who wrote: “But there are also many other things which Jesus did; which, if they were written every one, the world itself, I think, would not be able to contain the books that should be written.”
Written Word, Sacred Oral Tradition (see prior post) and the actual practice of the early disciples and followers of Christ in his command to teach speak ONE truth to Peter and his successors through ONE Church for ALL time.
Would there have been a Resurrection without the death/ crucifixion?
Steelfish: Without the Eucharist, everything else is useless.
Chapter and verse?
John 6:53 So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves.
I guess not having life in you would tend to make everything else useless.
BTW still waiting on a prot to show me the DEFINITION any DEFINITION of SS in the Bible.
Mind you I am only expecting a knee jerk response from the prots. I used facts and cited the scriptures.
