They may as well just go to the justice of the peace and then do a big reception. Why bother using church if it’s just a decoration?

The fault is the churches'. Most RCCs do a good job of requiring pre-Cana or premarital instruction, but the Protestants have really dropped the ball on this issue. Churches should hesitate or even refuse to marry a couple unless they show an understanding and acceptance of the Christian values of matrimony.

Agree whole heartedly! Divorce is common because marriage is so easy to fall in to. We must emphaisze the permanence of marriage and encourage people to take their time in choosing a person they choose to join for life in the eyes of God.

When the founder of Chic-fil-a spoke out against homosexual marriage we all cheered, but few remember in that same comment, he also spoke out against divorce. We have to return to ALL of our traditions, that includes the premise that marriage is sacred and divorce is wrong.

I liked her dress as well. A little low in the front, but she's younger than I am so.... I did find a dress with short sleeves and a neckline. The priest was very pleased.

I think that modesty during a wedding is very important for all people attending. It's not a cocktail party.
