Agree whole heartedly! Divorce is common because marriage is so easy to fall in to. We must emphaisze the permanence of marriage and encourage people to take their time in choosing a person they choose to join for life in the eyes of God.
When the founder of Chic-fil-a spoke out against homosexual marriage we all cheered, but few remember in that same comment, he also spoke out against divorce. We have to return to ALL of our traditions, that includes the premise that marriage is sacred and divorce is wrong.
Agreed. If it hadn't been for no-fault divorce and the waves of divorce among heteros, gay marriage would not have gained a foothold.
