In the general, no, only in the particular. The problem is that you already dismissed they idea of the general. The problem is your apparent misunderstanding of the reality of the Church.

Again, there’s that apparent misunderstanding of the reality of the Church...and scripture for that matter.

“Only Jesus is required, nothing more or nothing less.”

Yet you’re relying on scripture as your “final authority” rather than Jesus. And at the same time you dismiss any relying on the Church. If you figure out the obvious problem with your logic, let me know.
