A big reason for this is that people in Europe just don’t go to church in big numbers anymore. There is simply no need for so many houses of worship if people aren’t going to worship in the first place.

I too moved to a church that does not support multi-cultural events.

Besides, why should an American Catholic Church celebrate a Mass where parts are read in English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Tagalog?

Churchianity has done more damage to the cause of Christ than anything and the Catholic church is not alone in that, sad to say.
Pursue God for Himself. Read His word and ask Him to speak to you through it.
He will NEVER turn away a heart that is seeking after Him.
