Better to make progress towards full communion with the Eastern Orthodox who are only separated from us by history and human failings and not by rank heresy. Lutheranism was founded in heresy and persists in heresy and only piles it deeper through the years. Sadly The Church in Germany is dominated by another group of heretics in Casper and his followers so even if Luthern individuals seek to repent of Luther’s folly they will have a hard time finding the truth.
