Mary gave birth to Jesus.

Jesus is God.

Therefore, Mary is the mother of God.

>>Therefore, Mary is the mother of God.<<

Catholic teaching is that Jesus had a divine nature and a human nature. Did Jesus get His divine nature from Mary?

Mary gave birth to Jesus.

Which makes Mary the mother of Jesus.

Therefore, Mary is the mother of God.

Which denies His humanity and hence, the Incarnation.
