Animosity? No way. Why do Catholics always attribute some sort of ill will to those who disagree? The only reason I can think of is because that's how they feel about others so they attribute those same feelings.
Actually I feel a deep sense of sadness for those who have been indoctrinated into the cult of Catholicism. I watch as the Catholic Church moves to join together with all other world religions and realize that the prophecy of a one world religion is being formed right before our eyes. Those who cling to that organization will rue the day.
I submit you are not your own best judge. You can ask your Catholic friends what they think, and therein lies the rub. In any case we all have our cross to bear and Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.
The word "pagan" is not in the holy scriptures. For one Gentile to call other Gentiles' religious faith and practice "Gentile" is odd and redundant. I find Catholics are much closer to Jews than many Protestants, and some/many Catholics, realize.
