You care to show us in the scriptures where Mary was born without original sin??? <>Well; a snippet of Matthew, a pinch of Luke, stir in some Isaiah, mix in some Revelation and VIOLA!
BAM!!
There she is!

Boogieman, I believe you have misinterpreted Heart-rests post. She is, in my view & being a Protestant, not attacking Protestants, but pushing the forth the idea that Catholics and Protestants are all united with, in, and under Jesus Christ.Dang!
I could have SWORN that moisture on my back was RAIN!

>>A great many denominations have fellowship with each other, and the differences in beliefs dont prevent us from recognizing each other as brothers and sisters in Christ.<<
Indeed. I’ve yet to see a Protestant or Evangelical church statement of faith or creed issue anathemas towards other Christian churches.

>>whom they are bound to treat with sincere obedience and reverence.<<
"Bound ey? That sounds rather cultish.
>>We furthermore forbid any lay person to engage in dispute, either private or public, concerning the Catholic Faith. Whosoever shall act contrary to this decree, let him be bound in the fetters of excommunication. Pope Alexander IV (1254-1261) in Sextus Decretalium,<<
Oy!!! Lot's of Freepers here subject to excommunication it would seem.
>>"Do not converse with heretics even for the sake of defending the faith, for fear lest their words instil their poison in your mind". Bl. Isaias Boner of Krakow (Polish, Augustinian priest, theologian, professor of Scripture, d. 1471)<<
Yep! It's a cult.

Thanks Daniel for your amazing research and your zeal in getting through all the muck to bring out the truth in so many areas!
Yes, thanks Daniel1212 and may the Lord be as pleased as I am with your fruitful efforts here.
And to you too Syncro. Lately, I have come to see that I have been all too completely wrong about you in times past.
Not sure what's coming around the next bend...so...will catch up with you guys later.

And still they are all considered the "stand in" for Christ as far as the cult is concerned.

You would have to take the up with the apostle who said it. Inspired by the Holy Spirit I might remind you. Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

Well, then answer the question as you phrased it. You still have not indicated that this is what you meant. Also, in this medium I don't take commands very well. You might want to revise your approach, eh?

Yeah but Paul repented.
The sodomites don’t want to repent and want your magesterium to accept their sin as “normal.” Then demand to be openly homosexual and be clergy.
You have no idea what this current Pope is going to do.

27 years in the Army here, and ditto. Numerous chapels, denominations represented, close fellowship with chaplains of all denominations in our quarters, their homes and in the field.
I value those times.

I always find it funny when FRomans accuse us of ignorance on Catholic doctrine, and then it turns out that we have done more research into the laws of their church then they have done themselves.

When RCs learn to properly handle Scripture, they will begin to understand their errors (as evident by the wrong attribution in post 248) and will become former RCs as have so very many of our Christian brothers and sisters.
But, until and unless that happens...well, I hear time is short...and that it will be even shorter for those who wait until the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days have been nearly completed.

Do you consider yourself an apostle, ie., equivalent to an apostle, or are you hearing as a prophet/prophetess ? Will you reveal the general denomination, sect, or group where you regularly assemble, or do you just want to reveal being anti Catholic ?

Only one "Church" I know of who claims "apostolic succession" and for certain they are liars. I didn't think you would admit it however.

“I offer
myself entirely to thee.”
“Entirely” leaves nothing for the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Not a prayer I would ever want to pass my lips if I cared about my immortal soul. Besides, I have nothing left to offer, since I’m already enslaved to Christ.
To: metmom
“Not any more than the variety found in the seven churches in Revelation 2 & 3. Each one of those was different from the other, as evidenced by what Christ spoke to them individually about. And yet they were all churches that Christ recognized as His own.”
Also, according to Catholic belief, they claim those churches as their own, since this is pre-Reformation, and they do not hold to the dispensational interpretaion of that section. Yet, already, in the first century, Christ himself notes the differences in teachings and beliefs between those churches. So much for universality!
