The ‘Prosperity Gospel’ is insidious in it’s deception. If “the flock” are comfortable with looking to Uncle Sugar for some (or all) portion of their so-called prosperity, do they then provide Osteen with offerings according to their “prosperity”?
Just thinking out loud...
I guess it could be some of that. But I also think there are also a lot of God-fearing devout people who have not depended on the government - people who have worked and saved and planned - who could get sucked up by clever campaign of religious deception and money-grubbing.
I don’t personally know if Osteen is like this or not. I haven’t taken the time to investigate or listen much to him and his word. Some may say I’m a sinner just because I didn’t take the time to listen to him. I’ll take the criticism. I was just supposing and had desire to see what others here think about it.
