Based on some interpretations of the Bible. Others, obviously, disagree.

But this isn’t about TToE, it is about a logical ties the Pope has made between The Big Bang and God.

(PS: I will NOT discuss TToE on this thread).

I do not believe that the letters and revelations in the bible were meant to be used by future generations as science books.

I think information was given in a way that those at the time it was given would/could understand.

Scientists do the same today, they dumb down what they are saying for an audience that couldn't grasp what they were saying otherwise.

Actually, the Bible says zero about evolution of something into something else...with the exception of a serpent losing it’s legs in Genesis :)

Eisegesis? Ken Ham gets to the heart of the debate about the six days of creation. If we read from what the biblical text says (exegesis), it allows only one interpretation-six 24-hour days of Creation. Any other interpretation is eisegesis (when people”read into” the Bible).
