Two ordained Christian pastors in Idaho have filed a federal lawsuit and a motion for temporarily restraining Coeur d'Alene city officials from forcing them to perform same-sex wedding ceremonies or face prosecution for violating "non-discrimination" laws.
Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys filed the lawsuit and the motion on behalf of Donald Knapp and his wife, Evelyn, who run Hitching Post Wedding Chapel and have been required by city officials to perform gay ceremonies or face months in jail and/or thousands of dollars in fines.
The city says its non-discrimination ordinance requires them to perform same-sex wedding ceremonies because the courts have overridden Idaho's voter-approved constitutional amendment that affirmed marriage as the union of a man and a woman.

I have seen many signs in the past on places of business which said ( we have the right to refuse service to any one)
I have never looked this issue up in the constitution but it seems these people thought they had that right.
I have always thought equal rights just had to do with government but could be wrong, don`t know but in my view it should just pertain to Government.
The 13th Amendment prohibits “involuntary servitude”.
The “officials” seem to have forgotten that.
I agree. I'm stunned at some of the comments here.
Outside of a criminal conviction, why would an American ever lose their rights?

Should the government force moral diversity? Can they force you to sell another bottle of booze to a drunk? Force you to sell your puppies to Cruella? What is the justification to stop the government from selling anything we have to anybody who demands it? Can the government force you to sell you guns?
The answer is only yes if the government owns you and has a right to your product or in the case of services of your labor hours. If you are forced by someone to do something which you did not consent to, if your labor hours are stolen and put to the use of anothers demands: It is Slavery of the first order!
When you leave God's book behind you will lose your freedom.
